Giorgio Chiellini

Giorgio Chiellini is an Italian soccer player who plays for Juventus and Italy National

team. He is a defender, maybe even the best of his time. I’m going to tell you about his life and

his soccer career. The personal and player profiles.

He was born on a Tuesday afternoon in Pisa on August 14, 1984, with a twin brother. His

parents are Fabio and Lucia Chiellini. He has a brother named Giulio and a sister named Silvia.

At the age of six he started playing the game of soccer. Although he did not always want to play

soccer, he wanted to play basketball. He was an admirer of Kobe Bryant. He loved any sport

really though. He loved videogames, music, books, and movies. When he started playing soccer

he played for a team called Livorno. His position was center midfielder. As he matured he

moved to a wing spot. He played with this team until he got scouted by Juventus in 2004 for 6.5

million Euros!

He graduated from Enriques Senior High School in Livorno with full marks. Then

he enrolled at the Faculty of Business and Economics in Turin. There he recently got his first

degree. He met his longtime girlfriend, now wife, at a football event. Her name is Carolina

Bonistalli. They got married in 2014 at a private Catholic ceremony at the Sanctuary of

Montenero in Livorno. They have a three year old daughter now named Nina who was born in

July of 2015.

When Chiellini started his soccer career with A.S Livorno Calcio from 2000-2002. Later

on he played for A.S Roma. But he did not play a single match with them and got loaned to A.S

Livorno Calcio. He had four goals in 47 appearances. From 2004 to 2005 he played for

Fiorentina. He scored three goals in 37 matched, which is really good for a defender! After this

amazing performance with Florentina, Juventus selected him.

When Chiellini moved to Juventus he was a starter for their Serie B team. When

they moved to Serie A he was converted into center back from a left back. He was considered

as the best center back in the league by many! In 2008 he was awarded “Serie A Defender of

the Year.” As of now He has made 442+ appearances, 34 goals, and won 12 titles. He has been a

huge asset to their team and has made many wins for Juventus.

Chiellini made his international debut in 2004 for Italy. For his remarkable ability to play

soccer he was selected in the nation’s squad for the 2004 Olympics. They won a bronze medal

for the nation. He also has helped win three UEFA Championships and two FIFA World Cups.

One very well known fact about Chiellini playing for Italy is that in a World Cup game vs.

Uruguay, Uruguay’s forward, Suarez, bit him! The player finally confessed in a social media

event and got suspended for at least two matches, but could reach a maximum of 24 months.

In conclusion Giorgio Chiellini is a phenomenal soccer player. He makes a 3 million dollar

salary and his net worth is 15 million dollars! This six foot defender has helped his team put

goals in the back of the goal. He is just an all-around amazing player. He just renewed his

Juventus contracts for two more years also! He will continue to lead his team to victory!
