II. Rationale :
This event will be conducted in order to help the students of the college to
obtain an understanding of how the government uses its funds and the relevant
accounting implications and procedures.
III. Objectives :
a) To impart an understanding of Government Accounting.
b) To update the students regarding the Government Accounting Manual
(GAM).
IV. Implementation:
1) The speaker will be chosen with reference to the college of accounting
roster of speakers. The speaker may be suggested by the faculty.
2) Submission of the SRF to OSA and the security office for the reservation
of event venue.
3) The information will be disseminated through the bulletin board in the 3rd
floor of BE building.
V. Budgetary Requirements:
Honorarium for speaker 2,000
Certificates 1,000
Miscellaneous Expenses 1,000
Total 4,000
ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
VII. Rationale :
This event will help the students of the college to obtain knowledge about
certain laws relevant in the field of accounting.
VIII. Objectives :
a) To educate accounting students regarding the laws relevant in business
transactions connected with the study of accounting.
IX. Implementation:
1. The speaker will be chosen with reference to the college of accounting
roster of speakers. The speaker may be suggested by the faculty.
2. Submission of the SRF to OSA and the security office for the reservation
of event venue.
3. The information will be disseminated through the bulletin board in the 3rd
floor of BE building.

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
XII. Rationale :
Idea generation is a creative activity through which accounting students can
express their views of the world. An idea is generated through pondering into
the subtle meanings behind certain pictures. This activity will nurture the
creative side of the students which is important for a balanced student life.
XIII. Objectives :
a) To allow students a way of recreation through expression of ideas.
b) To award students who excel linguistically.
c) To promote innovative and creative qualities in accounting students.
XIV. Implementation:
1. A picture will be chosen and will be posted in the bulletin.
2. Entries will be submitted and then will be judged by the faculty members
according to pre-determined criteria.
3. The winners will be announced through the Bulletin and will be given
prizes.
