LESSON PLAN HLTH 1202


LESSON ORGANISATION (based on: AC:HLTH)

Intention: By the end of this lesson, students should successfully be able to complete an overhead mark and a chest mark

Pre-lesson organisation:
- Check the weather
- Check safety of location (bees/ants/accessibility)
- Bring out equipment and first aid
- Make sure all balls are pumped up
- Set up two lines parallel to each other with a cone on each end (15m) and have the lines 15m from each other
Equipment: (Based on 24 Students)
- 16x Cones
- 12x Footballs
- Bibs
- Whistle

• Choose a team leader from each team to grab their team bibs
• Choose 1 student from two teams’ group to grab a football
• Choose one student from each group to grab 8 cones and set up a game area (with teachers’ guidance)

• Ask students what good things they saw the students do in the different types of marks, demonstrating what they
learnt today/KTPs
• Ask students which activity their favorite was, do this by calling out the name of the activity and students raiding
their hands
