PAPER COMPETITION

 DESCRIPTION
This year, Oceano 2017 is adding another competition to its event, paper competition. We
choose “Advancing and Sustaining Innovation Marine Technology for the Future” as our
main theme because we want to expand the common knowledge for this matter because
of its relevancy to our event and the oil and gas industry and also the coastal environment
in general.
 THEME
“Advancing and Sustaining Innovation of Marine Technology for the Future”

 VENUE AND DATE

 Venue : Theater C (Faculty of Mathematics and Science, ITS)
 Date : Saturday, April 1st 2017
 Time : 08.00 to 16.00

 GENERAL RULES
 All participant must be undergraduate student.
 One team consist a maximum of 2 people and must be in same university.
 Paper Competitions consist of three categories, those are:
1. Offshore Renewable Energy:
2. Coastal Structure Innovation for Further Marine and Coastal Development:
3. Innovative Technology to Optimize Deepwater Equipment Efficiency
 There are two main stages for Paper Competition, those are Abstract selection and
Paper Presentation.

 REGISTRATION
- The registration will be opened on Monday, Dec 26th 2016.
- The Invitaion Letter and Form of Registration can be downloaded at
oceano.oe.its.ac.id
- Participation teams are required to submit completed registration form to
oceano@oe.its.ac.id before 18st February 2017.
- Announcement of accepted abstract will be on Saturday, February 18th 2017 and
published at our Social Media and will be sent directly to your email.
- If your team have selected from abstract selection, the payment should have been
paid before March 18th 2017 and the slip should be submitted to
oceano@oe.its.ac.id with the subject : FullPaymentPaper_Leader’s
Name_University.

 AWARD AND PRIZE

- The winners will be announced in the closing ceremony.
- There will be 3 winners, which are:
 1st Winner Rp 3.000.000,00 + Certificate + Trophy
 2nd Winner Rp 2.000.000,00 + Certificate + Trophy
 3rd Winner Rp 1.250.000,00 + Certificate + Trophy
