Focus: To Study space, form and design process

Design principles of natural and man-made objects

Contents:

1. Study of planar and paper forms


2. Study of solid and voids
3. Application of basic design in architecture
4. Study of abstract design
5. Building appraisal
6. Principles of architectural planning
7. Implication of basic requirements in design

1025002:T.R.D & Sketching-II

Focus: To develop skills for technical representation of architectural design projects

Contents:

1. Measure drawing
2. Perspective and sciography
3. Complex isometric and axonometric
4. Advanced painting techniques
5. Technical representation of materials and textures

1025003:Building Construction-II

Focus: Advanced materials used in construction of Buildings

Contents:

1. Building industry and market surveys


2. Study of various building materials like metal, paint, glass, timber boards, tiles etc.
3. Study of hardware, sanitary fixtures, plumbing fittings etc.
4. Advanced of brick masonry, arches and foundation,
5. Doors, windows and staircase
1025004:Structure-II

Focus: Material consideration for structure

Contents:

1. Strength of materials
2. Stress and strain, shear force and bending moment
3. Types of supporting condition – cantilevered, simply supported, continuous etc .
