the Americas. There was crowding, starvation, illness, chains, knowledge of future captivity, and separation
from home and family.

The French and Indian War got its name because the French and Indians (Native Americans) fought against the
British. The war started because of conflict over land, and the British (who the Native Americans ended up
joining) won the war.
