El presente Manual del Propietario abarca aspectos relacionados a la operación y el mantenimiento de su nueva motocicleta. Esperamos que
está información le ayude a extender la vida útil y asegurar la seguridad y el buen funcionamiento del vehículo.
La agencia automotriz autorizada más cercana le podrá asistir con información técnica, guías de utilización y servicios posventa.
La información, las ilustraciones, las fotografías y las especificaciones técnicas que aparecen en este manual están basadas en la información
de producto más actualizada a la fecha de publicación; las especificaciones y el rendimiento de la motocicleta pueden recibir mejoras u otros
cambios, y es posible que encuentre discrepancias entre las características de su vehículo y las características que aparecen en este manual.
El fabricante se reserva el derecho a hacer cambios a su entera discreción y conveniencia.
Sinceramente esperamos que oportunamente compartan sus opiniones y sugerencias respecto al diseño, a la producción y a la calidad de la

1. Consejos para conducir con seguridad


INFORMACION PARA CONDUCTORES
El conducir una motocicleta requiere tomar ciertas precauciones para asegurar la seguridad del conductor y del pasajero. Realice las revisiones
diarias antes de cada uso. Refiérase a la sección <REVISAR ANTES DE CONDUCIR> de este manual para más información sobre los
componentes y el mantenimiento.

¿Cómo conducir con seguridad?


1. No revisar la motocicleta cuidadosamente después de cada uso puede dañar los componentes del vehículo y/o causar un accidente.
2. No permita que una persona sin licencia conduzca el vehículo.
3. Preste atención a las siguientes consideraciones para evitar colisionar con otro vehículo.
• Utilice la indumentaria de protección para motociclistas siempre que conduzca el vehículo.
• Conducir a velocidades extremas incrementa las posibilidades de perder el control y sufrir un accidente. No accione el puño acelerador de
manera imprudente. Recuerde siempre utilizar las direccionales o sonar la bocina cuando cambie de carril o cuando doble en una intersección.
• Sostenga el manubrio con ambas manos y apoye los pies sobre los posapiés en todo momento; evite sufrir lesiones y/o accidentes.
• Conducir bajo condiciones climáticas no favorables, especialmente lluvia, es peligroso. La distancia de reacción y frenado se duplica bajo
condiciones lluviosas.
PRECAUCIONES
1. El conductor y el pasajero deben SIEMPRE utilizar casco, gafas, e indumentaria de protección para motociclistas (i.e.: guantes, pantalones
de cuero o de tejido pesado, camisa de manga larga o chaqueta, y botas).
2. Evite entrar en contacto con la mufla; puede estar caliente. Recuerde siempre utilizar indumentaria de protección y botas.
3. Evite utilizar vestimenta holgada o a la moda; no es adecuada para conducir.
CARGA

Equilibre la carga entre ambos lados de la motocicleta para no comprometer la seguridad y la estabilidad.
1. Coloque la carga lo más bajo y cercano posible al vehículo. Una carga mal colocada puede afectar el centro de gravedad de la motocicleta
y comprometer gravemente la estabilidad del vehículo y la seguridad del conductor.
2. Ajuste la presión de los neumáticos tomando en consideración la carga adicional y la condición del vehículo.
3. Sujete firmemente la carga a la motocicleta para evitar comprometer su estabilidad.

MODIFICACIONES
1. Es prohibido modificar esta motocicleta.
2. Es prohibido infringir la ley de tránsito.

3. Números de serie
NÚMEROS DE IDENTIFICACIÓN
(1) Número de serie del motor:
(2) Número de identificación vehicular (VIN por sus siglas en inglés):

(1) El número de serie del motor se encuentra grabado sobre el lado izquierdo inferior del cárter.
(2) El número de identificación vehicular se encuentra grabado sobre el lado izquierdo superior del manubrio.
(3) El número de chasis se encuentra grabado sobre el lado derecho superior del manubrio.
Anote el número de identificación vehicular y el número de serie del motor en el espacio arriba designado para futura referencia. Su agencia
de automóviles puede utilizar estos números de serie para ordenar repuestos o para obtener más información.

4. Funcionabilidad de los componentes


[Medidores e Indicadores]
(1) Perilla del odómetro: Regresa la lectura del odómetro a cero.
(2) Odómetro: Mide la distancia recorrida.
(3) Indicador de neutro: Una luz en el panel de instrumentos que se ilumina cuando el vehículo está en neutro.
(4) Velocímetro: Indica la rapidez promedio del vehículo.
(5) Indicador de luz alta: Cuando la luz delantera está encendida, y el interruptor de iluminación se desliza a la posición de luz alta, el indicador
de luz alta del panel de instrumentos se ilumina. Si la luz delantera está encendida, y el interruptor de iluminación se desliza a la posición de luz
baja, el indicador de luz alta permanecerá apagado.
(6) Indicador de direccional izquierda: Una luz en el panel de instrumentos que se ilumina cuando se acciona la direccional izquierda.
(7) Indicador de direccional derecha: Una luz en el panel de instrumentos que se ilumina cunado se acciona la direccional derecha.

(8) Tacómetro: Mide las revoluciones por minuto (rpm por sus siglas en inglés): el rango máximo de revoluciones por minuto del vehículo es
9500~1400r/min. Evite conducir a estas velocidades para no dañar el motor.
(9) Ignición:
POSICIÓN DE “APAGADO”: El circuito eléctrico de la ignición está abierto y el motor no se puede encender. La llave se puede retirar de la
ignición.
POSICIÓN DE “ENCENDIDO”: El circuito eléctrico de la ignición está cerrado y el motor se puede encender. La llave NO se puede retirar
de la ignición en esta posición.
POSICIÓN DE “BLOQUEO”: Para bloquear la dirección gire el manubrio hasta su extremo izquierdo. Gire la ignición hasta llegar a la posición
de “BLOQUEO” y retire la llave. El circuito eléctico quedará abierto.

5. Puño izquierdo
Interruptor de iluminación (1)
Luz altas/Luz baja
Cuando la luz delantera está encendida, y el interruptor de iluminación se desliza a la posición de luz alta “ ”, el indicador de luz alta del panel
de instrumentos se ilumina. Si la luz delantera está encendida, y el interruptor de iluminación se desliza a la posición de luz baja “ ”, el indicador
de luz alta permanecerá apagado
Interruptor de señales de cambio [direccionales] (2)
Interruptor que se desliza hacia la izquierda o hacia la derecha para indicar que se doblará hacia cierta dirección.
“ ” Posición: Deslizar el interruptor hacia esta posición hace que la señal izquierda de cambio y el indicador del panel de instrumentos se
iluminen.
“ ” Posición: Deslizar el interruptor hacia esta posición hace que la señal derecha de cambio y el indicador del panel de instrumentos se
iluminen.
Las señales y el indicador del panel de instrumentos se apagan cuando el interruptor se desliza hacia la posición “¡ñ” (en el centro).

Bocina (3)
Presione el botón para accionar la bocina.

6. Puño derecho
Interruptor de apagado (1)
El interruptor de apagado se encuentra en el puño derecho.
Este interruptor de giro está instalado en el centro del puño acelerador.
Posición de “ ”: Gire el interruptor hacia esta dirección cuando arranque el motor. En esta posición el circuito de ignición está cerrado y el
motor se puede encender.
Posición de “ ”: Si sufre una caída o el motor se apaga de repente gire el interruptor hacia esta dirección para apagar el motor de inmediato;
esto mantendrá abierto el circuito de ignición.

Interruptor de luz (2)


Posición “ ”: En esta posición se iluminan las luces de estacionamiento delanteras, la luz delantera, y la luz trasera.
Posición “ ”: En esta posición se iluminan las luces de estacionamiento delanteras y la luz trasera.
Posición “¡ñ”: En esta posición se apagan todas las luces.

7. Tanque de combustible
9.5L; incluyendo el tanque de reserva. Para retirar la tapa del tanque de combustible introduzca la llave y gírela 90° en sentido de las manecillas
del reloj. Para volver a cerrar el tanque asegúrese de que la tapa coincida con la muesca, presione ligeramente y retire la llave.
Utilice combustible RQ-90 o superior. También puede utilizar combustible estándar sin o con poco plomo si no encuentra disponible este tipo
de combustible. Usar combustible sin plomo puede alargar la vida útil del motor y de las bujías.

Tapa del tanque de combustible
Atención
Asegúrese de cerrar firmemente la tapa y no permita que el nivel de combustible exceda la capacidad máxima del tanque cuando rellene el
vehículo de gasolina.
El combustible es inflamable; evite estacionar el vehículo en espacios confinados y recuerde apagar el motor antes de llenar el tanque de
combustible. Evite fumar o utilizar fuentes de fuego cerca del vehículo.
Filtre el combustible antes de llenar el tanque.

Válvula de combustible

“Cerrado” “Abierto” “Reserva”


La válvula de combustible de tres posiciones se encuentra sobre el lado izquierdo inferior del tanque de combustible. Gire la válvula a
la posición “¡ñ” (cerrado) para obstruir el paso de combustible y evitar que el tanque alimente al carburador. Recuerde girar la válvula
a esta posición cuando no esté utilizando el vehículo. Recuerde volver a girar la válvula a la posición “ ” (abierto) antes de conducir;
esto abrirá el paso y permitirá que el combustible fluya del tanque al carburador. Gire la válvula a la posición “ ” (reserva) para utilizar el
combustible del tanque de reserva (solamente podrá utilizar el tanque de combustible cuando el tanque principal esté vacío). Llene el tanque
de combustible lo antes posible luego de girar la válvula a esta posición; el tanque de reserva solamente tiene una capacidad de 1.5L.

Atención:
Evite dejar la válvula en la posición “ ” después de llenar el tanque; esto agotará la reserva de combustible.
Preste especial atención al correcto uso de la válvula para evitar quedarse sin combustible.

Aceite de motor

El aceite de motor es un componente importante de todo vehículo que influye en la vida útil y en el rendimiento de su motor. Por lo tanto es
vitalmente importante utilizar el aceite recomendado y no utilizar aceite ordinario o fuera de especificación. Es posible que requiera utilizar aceite
de diferentes viscosidades dependiendo de la estación del año en la que se encuentre.

El vehículo viene de fábrica con aceite 15W/40 QE; si usted desea cambiar el aceite asegúrese de que sea al menos categoría QE (ver figura
a continuación). Para cambiar el aceite primero drene el cárter, límpielo con queroseno, y rellénelo con el nuevo aceite de motor. En caso de no
poder adquirir aceite 15W/40 QE, también puede utilizar aceite HQB-10 (en temperaturas menores a 10°, utilice HQB-6).

NEUMÁTICOS

Mantener la presión adecuada en los neumáticos alarga su vida útil, permite conducir cómodamente y afecta la estabilidad del vehículo.

Revise frecuentemente la presión de los neumáticos y ajústela de ser necesario. Si requiere cambiar el neumático utilice una llanta de repuesto
con las siguientes especificaciones:

NOTA
Verifique la presión de aire solo cuando los neumáticos estén “fríos”. Revise que los neumáticos no estén agrietados, y que ningún
clavo – u otro objeto punzocortante – lo haya penetrado. Verifique la ausencia de abolladuras e imperfecciones en los aros. Contacte
a su agencia automotriz en caso de daño o perforación.

ADVERTENCIA
• No aplique parches a neumáticos dañados o con perforaciones; esto puede afectar el balance y la maniobrabilidad del vehículo.
• La presión inadecuada de aire en los neumáticos causa desgaste innecesario y afecta la seguridad del conductor. La falta de presión
puede causar que el neumático patine sobre el aro, que se desprenda o que se desinfle, y que el conductor pierda el control del
vehículo.
• Conducir con neumáticos desgastados es sumamente peligroso y puede afectar la tracción y la maniobrabilidad del vehículo.
• El uso de neumáticos distintos a los que aparecen en la Tabla 1 puede afectar negativamente la maniobrabilidad.
Reemplace los neumáticos cuando la profundidad de su dibujo exceda los límites establecidos en la siguiente tabla:

8. Guía de operación
Revistar antes de conducir
Recuerde revisar los siguientes componentes antes de conducir la motocicleta. Solo le tomará unos minutos; le ahorrara tiempo y dinero y
garantizará la seguridad del conductor.
Verifique y ajuste el nivel de aceite de motor – en caso de ser necesario – y revise que no haya fuga.
Verifique y rellene la gasolina del tanque de combustible – en caso de ser necesario – y revise que no haya fuga.
Verifique el buen funcionamiento del sistema de frenado delantero y trasero, y regule el juego libre del pedal y la palanca, en caso de ser
necesario.
Revise los neumáticos; verifique la ausencia de grietas o cortadas y que la presión de aire sea la apropiada.
Compruebe el nivel de electrolito de la batería.
Verifique el buen funcionamiento del puño de arranque, de la válvula de aire y del cableado, y que el juego libre sea el apropiado; en caso
contrario regule y ajuste el componente.
Revise las luces y la bocina. Revise el buen funcionamiento de la luz trasera, de la luz delantera, de las direccionales, de la luz de frenado, de
los indicadores del panel de instrumentos y de la bocina.
Revise la cadena de transmisión. Verifique la tensión y la lubricación. Reemplácela si observa desgaste excesivo o daños graves.
Revise la maniobrabilidad y estabilidad del manubrio.

¿CÓMO ARRANCAR EL MOTOR?

ADVERTENCIA: No arranque el motor en espacios confinados. Siempre arranque el motor con la transmisión en neutro, de lo contrario
podrá causar daños al vehículo y/o accidentes de tránsito.

Gire la válvula de combustible a la posición de “abierto.”


Introduzca la llave a la ignición y gírela a la posición “ ”.
Coloque la palanca de cambio en neutro (esto hará que se encienda una luz verde en el panel de instrumentos).
Si el motor está frío, gire la palanca del ahogador a la posición de “cerrado” hasta que el motor alcance su temperatura normal de funcionamiento;
regrese la palanca a su posición original.
Revise los neumáticos; verifique la ausencia de grietas o cortadas y que la presión de aire sea la apropiada.
Compruebe el nivel de electrolito de la batería.
Verifique el buen funcionamiento del puño de arranque, de la válvula de aire y del cableado, y que el juego libre sea el apropiado; en caso
contrario regule y ajuste el componente.
Revise las luces y la bocina. Revise el buen funcionamiento de la luz trasera, de la luz delantera, de las direccionales, de la luz de frenado, de
los indicadores del panel de instrumentos y de la bocina.
Revise la cadena de transmisión. Verifique la tensión y la lubricación. Reemplácela si observa desgaste excesivo o daños graves.
Revise la maniobrabilidad y estabilidad del manubrio.

ADVERTENCIA: No accione el pedal de arranque con demasiada fuerza; evite sufrir una lesión y/o dañar el vehículo.

Gire el puño acelerador 1/8 ~ 1/4 vueltas, accione el interruptor o el pedal de arranque y – si el motor está frío – gire la palanca del ahogador
(debajo del tanque de combustible) a la posición de “cerrado”. Regrese la palanca a su posición original cuando el motor alcance su temperatura
normal de funcionamiento.
Revolucione la motocicleta a 1400r/min para calentar el motor y que el vehículo funcione normalmente.
ADVERTENCIA: Antes de arrancar el motor en lugares con baja temperatura, accione el pedal de arranque, gire la ignición a la posición
de “APAGADO” para cerrar la palanca del ahogador y accione el puño de arranque.

¿Cómo hacer correctamente el rodaje de su nueva motocicleta?


Evite conducir su nueva motocicleta con un exceso de carga durante los primeros 1000 km.

* DESPROVISTO DE TODO SENTIDO *


Asegúrese que cualquier marcha baja sea del ochenta por ciento de velocidad para evitar abrir completamente el puño del acelerador, y elija
un cambio de velocidad, a fin de liberar el soporte del motor de mucha carga. En el inicio del periodo hace un ajuste en el motor, después del
ajuste, todos los componentes del motor se repararan, todos los ajustes se restauraran, esto asegurara una vida útil y un rendimiento óptimo
del motor]

¿CÓMO CONDUCIR SU NUEVA MOTOCICLETA?


1. Arranque la motocicleta y espere a que el motor alcance su temperatura normal de funcionamiento.
2. Mientras el motor trabaja al ralentí, accione el embrague y ponga el vehículo en primera.
3. Suelte el embrague y el acelerador lentamente y de manera simultánea para que el vehículo arranque con suavidad.
4. Cuando el vehículo alcance una velocidad constante, suelte el acelerador, accione el embrague y ponga el vehículo en segunda.
5. Regularice el acelerador y los frenos para reducir la velocidad con suavidad.
6. Utilice el freno delantero y el freno trasero de manera simultánea, sin embargo, evite accionarlo con demasiada fuerza para no detener la
rueda por completo, y/o para no comprometer la efectividad de frenado y el control del vehículo.

PRECAUCIÓN
No cambie de marcha sin reducir la velocidad; esto puede dañar el motor, la cadena de transmisión, u otras partes.

¿CÓMO FRENAR?
1. Gradualmente accione el freno delantero y el freno trasero mientras reduce la marcha para frenar normalmente.
2. Para frenar al máximo, suelte el acelerador y aplique firmemente ambos frenos. Accione el embrague antes de detener el vehículo por
completo para evitar que se apague el motor.

9. Inspección y reparación
¿Cómo revisar y cambiar el aceite de motor?
Verifique el nivel de aceite

(1) Estacione la motocicleta en una superficie uniforme y apóyela sobre su soporte central.
(2) Espere un minuto. El nivel debe estar entre la “F” (Full: Lleno) y la “L” (Low: Bajo)

PRECAUCIÓN: Utilice la varilla indicadora para revisar el nivel de aceite. El motor no arrancará si el nivel de aceite no es adecuado.
Rellene el tanque de aceite; el nivel debe caer entre el límite inferior (L) y el límite superior (F).

¿Cómo cambiar el aceite y el filtro de su motocicleta?


No cambie el aceite con el motor en frío; el proceso es el siguiente:

1) Estacione la motocicleta en una superficie uniforme y apóyela sobre su soporte central.

2) Retire la tapa del filtro de aceite.


3) Retire el tapón al fondo del motor y drene el aceite.
4) Después de drenar el aceite coloque el tapón y vierta el nuevo aceite de motor. Coloque la tapa del filtro de aceite, no la enrosque.
NOTA: 910 ml de aceite de motor son suficientes si no cambió el elemento filtrante.
5) Arranque el motor y déjelo correr al ralentí por unos minutos.
6) Apague el motor y espere por unos minutos. Revise el nivel de aceite y asegúrese de que alcance el límite superior (F).

PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de utilizar el aceite de motor recomendado en la sección <¿Cómo cambiar una bujía?>.

10. ¿Cómo cambiar una bujía?

¿Cómo revisar y cambiar la bujía?


1. Retire el tapón de cable de la bujía.
2. Limpie el polvo que se acumula cerca del orificio y de los alrededores. Retire la pieza con la llave para bujías que viene en la caja de
herramientas.
3. Revise que no hayan depósitos de carbón en los electrodos o en la punta de porcelana. Si la bujía presente un exceso de carbón reemplácela.
También puede remover el exceso carbón con un trapo limpio o con una escobilla limpia bujías.
4. Mida la apertura de la bujía con un medidor. Esta debe ser entre 0.6 - 0.7 mm; de no ser así doble el electrodo con cuidado hasta que se
ajuste a esta distancia. Asegúrese de que la arandela de la bujía esté en buenas condiciones.
5. Con la arándela en posición introduzca la bujía al orificio con la mano. Tallela con la llave para bujías.
6. Vuelva a colocar el tapón de cable de la bujía.

PRECAUCIÓN
Asegúrese de enroscar fijamente la bujía. Una bujía mal enroscada puede sobrecalentarse y dañar el motor muy fácilmente.
No utilice bujías fuera de especificación, esto puede causar graves daños al motor.

¿Cómo limpiar/cambiar el filtro de aire?


Cada 4000 km limpie y sumerja el filtro de aire en aceite de motor. Si usted conduce su motocicleta en vías con mucho polvo dele mantenimiento
con mayor frecuencia. Nuestra estación de servicio le ayudará, considerando sus necesidades, a establecer un plan de mantenimiento.

¿Cómo revisar y ajustar el puño acelerador?


Verifique que el puño acelerador gire en ambos sentidos y que al soltarlo regrese a su posición original.
Verifique que el acelerador tenga juega libre entre 2 ~ 6 mm.
Para ajustar el juego libre talle o afloje el tornillo y la tuerca de ajuste.

¿Cómo ajustar el ralentí del carburador?


Arranque el motor y déjelo correr por unos minutos hasta que alcance su temperatura normal de funcionamiento.
Asegúrese de que el acelerador esté en posición cero – y una vez que el motor esté caliente – revolucione el motor a 1500r/min. Para
incrementar la velocidad de ralentí gire el puño acelerador en sentido de las manecillas del reloj, para reducir la velocidad de ralentí gire el puño
acelerador en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj.
Coloque el tornillo en el medio de las dos posiciones cuando el motor alcance la velocidad de ralentí, esto contribuirá a que la mezcla de aire
y aceite sea apropiada.
Si la velocidad de ralentí no es la apropiada, ajuste nuevamente el tornillo.

¿Cómo ajustar el embrague?


Accione el embrague y verifique que tenga juego libre entre 10 ~ 20 mm. Si no está conforme con el juego libre, afloje la tuerca y realice el
ajuste.
Ajuste la tuerca en sentido de la posición (A) para reducir el juego libre de la palanca de embrague del puño izquierdo.
Retire la cubierta anti-polvo del manubrio y ajuste el juego libre de la misma manera.
Ajuste la cadena de transmisión y verifique que su lubricación sea apropiada. La suciedad puede causar desgaste innecesario de la cadena
de transmisión y de los piñones. Por lo tanto, recuerde limpiar la cadena de transmisión con desengrasante cada 1,000 km y lubricarla con el
aceite de motor que se especifica en este manual.

Estacione la motocicleta y apóyela sobre su soporte central. Con una mano tire de la cadena hasta tensarla, con la otra presione ligeramente

¿Cómo lubricar la cadena de transmisión?


Afloje la abrazadera, retire la cadena de transmisión, y compruebe la ausencia de desgaste. Reemplácela si observa desgaste excesivo. Si
percibe un exceso de suciedad, sin embargo, límpiela con desengrasante. Recuerde lubricar la cadena con aceite de motor periódicamente.

¿Cómo revisar y ajustar el freno trasero?


Verifique que el freno trasero tenga un juego libre de 20 ~ 30 mm.
Para ajustar el juego libre, talle o afloje el tornillo de ajuste. Gire el tornillo en sentido de las manecillas del reloj para reducir el juego libre, gire
el tornillo en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj para incrementar el juego libre.

¿Cómo revisar el disco del freno delantero?
Estacione la motocicleta sobre una superficie uniforme y revise la bomba y el líquido de frenos. Si el nivel de líquido de freno no es apropiado,
vierta más líquido.
Afloje el tornillo y retire la tapa de la bomba antes de verter el líquido de frenos.

ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de no verter un exceso de líquido de frenos. Preste atención y mantenga los componentes limpios. No
mezcle el líquido de frenos con otras sustancias.

¿Cómo revisar las pastillas de freno?


Revise las pastillas de freno delanteras; compruebe que el desgaste no llegue a la marca que indica la muesca. Si el desgaste de una de las
pastillas llega hasta la marca, reemplácela de inmediato.

¿Cómo darle mantenimiento a la batería?


1. ¿Cómo usar una nueva batería?
1.1. ¿Cómo rellenar el nivel de electrolito?
1.1.1. Inspeccione la superficie de la batería y asegúrese de que no hayan grietas, cortadas, o daño de cualquier tipo, especialmente en las
terminales de la batería
1.1.2. Retire el tapón para poder rellenar la batería de electrolito
1.1.3. El electrolito viene en botella. Abra la botella y enrosque la manguera plástica a la tapa. Vierta el electrolito en la batería hasta alcanzar el
LÍMITE SUPERIOR y espere unos 20 minutos. Revise nuevamente el nivel de electrolito, si está por debajo del LÍMITE SUPERIOR, rellénelo
hasta que el nivel coincida con el límite.
NOTA: No permita que el nivel de electrolito sobrepase el límite superior.
1.1.4. Puede arrancar la motocicleta después de 30 minutos de haber llenado la batería de electrolito. Es recomendable cargar la batería por 3
a 5 horas antes de usarla para garantizar un óptimo rendimiento y extender su vida útil; especialmente durante invierno o si la motocicleta lleva
sin uso por un período prolongado.
1.1.5. Coloque el tapón y limpie el electrolito derramado.
1.2. ¿Cómo instalar?
1.2.1. Conecte la manguera de escape a la batería y asegúrese de que la conexión sea adecuada y que no hayan grietas u otros daños, de lo
contrario la batería puede estallar y salpicar al conductor de electrolito. El electrolito puede dañar la motocicleta y su vestimenta.
1.2.2. Conecte la terminal positiva (+) primero (color rojo), luego la terminal negativa (-).
NOTA: Asegúrese de conectar correctamente ambas terminales. Invertir la polaridad puede causar daños en la ignición, en el
regulador/rectificador, y/o en el sistema eléctrico.
1.2.3. Talle las tuercas y engráselas con mantequilla o vaselina para prevenir la oxidación y las malas conexiones.

2. ¿Cómo usar y darle mantenimiento?
2.1. Evite accionar la ignición por más de 5 segundos continuos. Si el motor no arranca después de varios intentos revise el aceite y el sistema
de arranque.
2.2. Las siguientes acciones pueden: (i) causar descargas eléctricas; (ii) causar que la batería se cargue inadecuadamente; y/o (iii) acortar la
vida útil de la batería.
(1) Arrancar el motor con extrema frecuencia.
(2) Conducir en primera marcha por un período prolongado.
(3) Aplicar el freno delantero y el freno trasero con extrema frecuencia.
(4) Instalar otros sistemas eléctricos y reemplazar bombillas por otras con demasiada potencia.
2.3. Recargue la batería inmediatamente cuando ocurra alguno de los siguientes eventos: (i) motor difícil de arrancar; (ii) luces tenues; (iii)
bocina no funciona.
2.4. Revise el nivel de electrolito cada 1 a 3 meses. Rellene la batería de electrolito hasta que el nivel coincida con el LÍMITE SUPERIOR. Si el
nivel está por debajo del límite inferior, rellene con agua pura o destilada.
NOTA: No permita que el nivel de electrolito sobrepase el límite superior.
2.5. Cargue la batería antes de almacenar la motocicleta por un período prolongado, y cada mes después de eso.
2.6. Cargue la batería.
2.6.1. Cargue la batería con el cargador fabricado por nuestra compañía. Cargue la batería en un espacio ventilado y bajo techo. Mantenga
la batería alejada de fuentes de fuego.
2.6.2. Existen dos métodos para cargar baterías: el método estándar y el método de carga rápida. El método estándar es más recomendable
ya que puede alargar la vida útil de la batería.
Método Estándar = corriente eléctrica: 0.7-0.8A | Tiempo de Carga: 5-15 horas
Método de Carga Rápida = corriente eléctrica: 7-8A | Tiempo de Carga: máximo 30 minutos.
2.6.3. Detenga inmediatamente la carga si la temperatura del electrolito alcanza o sobrepasa los 45°C. Reanude el proceso de carga hasta
que se enfríe la batería. Detenga la carga si percibe humo o vapor saliendo de la batería. Coloque el tapón y limpie el electrolito derramado.

3. Notas
3.1. El usar o cargar la batería de manera inapropiada puede causar que la batería explote. Mantenga la batería alejada de fuentes de fuego.
Asegúrese de conectar las terminales apropiadamente y de no invertir la polaridad para evitar las explosiones.
3.2. El electrolito contiene ácido sulfúrico y es dañino para la salud. Evite ingerir y/o entrar en contacto con él; puede dañar la piel, los ojos y la
vestimenta. En caso de ingerir el electrolito tome abundante agua o leche y consulte a su doctor inmediatamente.
3.3. Mantenga lejos del alcance de niños.
3.4. No instale un sistema de alarma y anti-hurto no recomendado, puede dañar el sistema eléctrico, la batería, la ignición, y/o el regulador/
rectificador. Le recomendamos únicamente utilizar el sistema de alarma y anti-hurto fabricado por nuestra compañía.

1. SAFE RIDING RECOMMENDATION


FOR MOTORCYCLE RIDERS
Motorcycle riding requires that some extra precautions be taken to ensure the safety of the rider and passenger. Be- fore each use, perform
daily inspection with the rider. Spe- cific items to check are listed in the INSPECTION BEFORE RIDING section of this Owner’s manual.

SAFE RIDING
1.Failure to inspect this motorcycle carefully before each riding may result in damage to the parts and an accident.
2.Do not permit anyone to operate this motorcycle without a license .
3.To avoid collision with other vehicles, note the followings while riding your motorcycle:
• Choose good quality motorcycle riding apparel in terms of riding of motorcycle.
• Operate signal equipments accurately.
• Riding this motorcycle at excessive speed increases your chances of losing control of the motorcycle. Do not press the “PASS” switch at
one’s pleasure. Always use the signals or horn when you intend to change lanes or make a turn.
• Keep both hands on the handgrips and both feet on the footrests at all times while riding. Passenger should keep feet on the passenger
footrests, or injures resulting from accidents.
• Riding on bad weather days, especially wet ones, requires extra caution. Braking distances double on a rainy day.
PRECAUTIONS
1. Make sure the rider wears a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing(gloves, leather or heavy cloth pants, long sleeved shirt or jacket,
boots) as well as the passenger.
2. Do not be touched on muffler because it is hot. Make sure to wear protective clothing or boots.
3. Loose fancy clothing can be uncomfortable and unsafe in terms of riding your motorcycle.
LOADING

Balance the load between the left and right side of the motorcycle to ensure safety and stability.
1. When carrying a load on the motorcycle, mount it as low as possible and as close as possible to the machine. An improperly mounted load
can create a high center of gravity, which is very dangerous and creates serious stability prob- lems and reduces safety factors.
2. Adjust tire pressure according to additional weight and driving condition.
3. Fasten the load securely to ensure stability of this motorcycle.

MODIFICATION TO THE MOTORCYCLE


1. Tampering with modification to this motorcycle is prohibited.

3. SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION


IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS
(1) Engine Serial Number:
(2) Vehicle Identification Number(VIN):

(1) The Engine Serial Number is stamped on the left downside of the crankcase assembly.
(2) The Vehicle Identification Number(VIN) is stamped on the left upside of the steering head tube.
(3) The frame number is stamped on right upside of the steering head tube.
Please write down the Vehicle Identification Number(VIN)and Engine Serial Number in the box provided above for your future reference. They
are also to assist your dealer in terms of ordering parts or referring to special service information.

4. Parts functions

(1) Zero knob: zero the short distance odometer.
(2) Short distance odometer: record the short distance.
(3) N eutral gew indicator “N”. When the Speedometer(odometer\ speedometer). indi- cate the riding speed.

(8) Engine tachometer(extreme limit district)indicates the engine speed in revolutions per minutes(rpm); 9500~1400r/min is extreme limit
district.Please don’t revolve in this district,or the engine life will be shortened.
(9) Ignition switch
“OFF”POSITION:All electrical circuits are cut off,the engine will not start. The key can be removed.
“ON”POSITION:The ignition circuit is completed and the engine can now be started. The key cannot be removed from the ignition switch in
this position.
“LOCK”POSITION:To lock the steering, turn the handlebar all the way to the left. Push down the key to the “LOCK” position after come up
again and remove the key. All electrical circuits are disconnected.

5. LEFT HANDLE SWITCHES


Dimmer switch (1)
High/Low beam lamp
When the dimmer switch is in the position, the headlamp high beam and high beam indicator lamp on the instrument panel come on. When the
dimmer switch is in the position, the headlamp low beam comes on and the high beam lamp is off.
Turn signal switch (2)
Using when turn left, right or change direction.
“ ” Position: The left turn signal lamp flashes and the left turn signal indicator on the instrument panel lit on.
“ ” position: The right turn signal lamp flashes and theright turn signal indicator on the instrument panel lit on.

When the button in the middle of “¡ñ”,The light turn off.

Press the switch to operate the horn.

6. RIGHT HANDLE SWITCHES


Engine stop switch (1)
The engine stop switch located in the right handle assembly.
The switch is turning-style and the turning axle is installed in the middle of the turning-board.
Position “ ”: Using when need operation of engine. The ignition circuit is on and the engine can run.
Position “ ”: Using when dangerous condition of fail- ing down or engine stop suddenly. The ignition circuit
is off.

Position “ ”: The headlamp, front parking lights and tail lamp come on.
Position “ ”: position:The front parking lights, and tail lamp come on.
Position “¡ñ”: All lamps go off.

7. Fuel tank
The volume of the fuel tank ≥ 9.5L,including standby uel oil. Need to open the tank cover, just only insert the key and turn it 90° in clockwise,
the tank cover can be taken out. Need to close the cover, please align the latch on the fuel tank cover with the groove on the oil filling neck, then
press the cover down, finally tade out the key. The fuel brand is RQ-90 or above. If there is no this fuel oil, low leaded standard gasoline can be
used. Using the unleaded gasoline can lengthen the ser- vice life of the spark plug and engine

Attention
When filling the fuel oil, the tank should not be over- filled and the cover should be screwed tightly.
The gasoline is inflammables, when filling in the oil, the engine should be stopped and must be in the place of ventlation. Don’t smoke or close
to the fire source.
Before filling, the fuel oil should be filtered.

Fuel cock

“OFF” “ON” “RES”


The 3-way fuel cock is set in left lower side of fuel tank. Put the cock handle to “¡ñ” (close) position, the fuel feeding stopped. When the vehicle
not to be used, the cock handle should be put to this position. W hen driving, put the cock handle to “ ” (open) position, he fue l fe edin g
start (the fue l oi l fl ow i nto the carbureto). Put the handle to “ ” (stand-by fuel tank) position, the stand-by fuel tank will feed the fuel oil (only
when normally feeding is ruming out, the stand- by fuel tank can be used). When the handle been put to “ ” position, please add the fuel oil
as soon as possible, because the volume of the stand-by fuel tank is only 1.5L.

Attention:
After adding the oil,the cock handle can not be kept in “ ” position continuously, or you will have no stand- by fuel oil for use. Please correctly
use the fuel tank Lock, in order to avoid oil shortage during driving

Engine luboil

The luboil is an important factor that have influence of the engine’s performance and its service life. So, it should be selected and used per the
regulation. Do not allow the ordinary engine oil. gear oil or plant oil instead. In different seasons, the oil of different vis- cosity should be used.

This vehicle is filled with 15W/40 QE oil when it is dispatched from the factory. If you want to change to other luboil, the quality should reach
QE grade, see the illustration. When changing the oil, drain off all used oil in the crankcase. After cleaning the crank- case with kerosene, fill
the crankcase with new luboil. If you can not perchase the 15W /40 QE oil, the HQB-10 instead (The temperature belows-10°, HQB-6) can
be also used.

TYRE

Proper tyre pressure will provide maximum stability, riding comfort and tyre life.

Check tyre pressure frequently and adjust if necessary. Select the right replacement tyres in accordance with the specifications shown in the
table 1.

NOTE
Tyre pressure should be checked before you ride while the tyres are “cold”. Check the tyres for cuts, embedded nails, or other sharp
objects. Check the rims for dents or deformation. See your dealer for change of damaged tyres or punctured inner tubes.

WARNING
• Do not attempt to patch a damaged tyre or inner tube. Wheel balance and tyre reliability may be impaired.
• Improper tyre inflation will cause abnormal tread wear and create a safety hazard. Under inflation may result in the tyre slipping on,
or coming of from the rim causing tyre deflation that may result in a loss of vehicle control.
•Operation with excessively worn tyres is hazard ous and will adversely affect traction and handling.
• The use of tyres other than those listed on the table 1 may adversely affect handling.

When the tread depth in the middle section of tyres reaches the limits in table 2 below, please replace tyres:

8. OPERATING GUIDE
Before riding the motorcycle, be sure to check. The following items only need some minutes, it will save your time that repair the default in the
riding, and keep your safe.
Check engine oil’s oil position – According to need, put into lube oil, and check whether leakage or not.
Check fuel oil’s oil position – According to need, put the fuel oil into fuel tank,and check whether leakage or not.
Check front and rear brake system – check front and rear brake system’s operation Circumstance, to regulate the route of free travel.
Check tire – check front and rear tire’s pressure,crack and cut.
Check storage battery electrolyte – check electrolyte’s position.
Check throttle grip’s action – check stanza air valve’s action, steel cable’s Conjunction and handle’s route of free travel, it is necessary to
regulate and change.
Check illuminate and horn – check headlamp, taillamp,turn signal lamp,brake Lamp,indicator lamp and horn whether normal or not.
Check drive chain – check chain’s tension,lube oil. If it has serious wear away and damage , it should be changed.
Check steering bar – check the steering bar’s flexibility and stability.

STARTING ENGINE

WARNING: Don’t start the engine in a narrow place, in order to avoid danger.Always start the engine with the transmission in neutral,
or the parts will be damaged and cause to traffic accident.

Turn the fuelcock lever to the “on” position.

Check illuminate and horn – check headlamp, taillamp,turn signal lamp,brake Lamp,indicator lamp and horn whether normal or not.
Check drive chain – check chain’s tension,lube oil. If it has serious wear away and damage , it should be changed.
Check steering bar – check the steering bar’s flexibility and stability

WARNING: Don’t step the start lever too powerfully,in order not to hurt foot and engine Cover.

Open the throttle grip 1/8~1/4,then push the starter switch or foot starter lever.the choke lever is under the fuel tank, turn the choke lever to
complete close when cold start,when the engine begin to work, return the choke lever to the benginning position right now.
To hot the engine in the speed 1400r/min,until the choke lever turn to complete open,so that the engine will work normally.
WARNING:In the lowest temperature’s place, before starter, use the foot starter lever stir the Bent stalk, twist the ignition switch
to”OFF”to close choke lever ,then to open throttle.

Engine break-in
Your new motorcycle drive during the beginning1000Km, don’t make the engine bear too much Load, and make sure any gear lowers the best
speed’s eighty percent, to avoid the throttle grip open Completely, and choice change speed, in order to release the engine bear too much
load. in the beginning period make the engine break-in turning, after breaking-in, all engine components will be repaired, all adjustments will be
restored, it will ensure optimum service life and performance from the engine.

Motorcycle driving
1. After the engine has been warned up, the motor- cycle is ready for riding.
2. W hile the engine is idling, pull in the clutch lever and tread the gearshift pedal to shift into its (low) gear.
3. Slowly release the clutch lever and at the same time gradually increase engine speed by opening the throttle. Coordination of the throttle with
clutch lever will assure a smooth and positive start.
4. When the motorcycle attains a steady speed, close the throttle, pull in the clutch lever and shift to 2nd gear by treading the gearshift pedal.
5. Coordinate the throttle with brakes for smooth deceleration.
6. Both front and rear brakes should be used at the same time and should not be applied strongly enough to lock the wheel, or braking
effectiveness will be reduced and control of the motorcycle be difficult.

CAUTION
Gear shifting with the clutch engaged and the throttle not decreased a little is forbidden, or damage of the engine, drive chain or other parts
may result.

BRAKING
1. For nomal braking, gradually apply both the front and rear brakes while downshifting to suit your road speed.
2. For maximum deceleration, close the throttle and apply the front and rear brakes firmly. Pull in the clutch lever before coming to a complete
stop to prevent stalling the engine.

9. Inspection and repair


Check and replacement of engine oil
Engine oil level check

(1)Stop the engine and hold the motorcycle with center stand vertically in flat surfaces.
(2)Wait one minute. The level should be between F and L.

CAUTION: Inspect the engine oil level through the engine oil level lens. The engine cannot start with insufficient oil. Refuel engine oil
between F and L level.

Replacement of engine oil and engine oil filter


Replace unused oil when the engine is warm in terms of drain the used oil in engine. The procedure is as follows.

1) Hold the motorcycle vertically with main stand in flat surfaces.

2) Remove the oil filler cap.


3) Drain the oil by removing the drain plug located on the bottom of the engine.
4) Tighten the drain plug,replenish with new engine oil. Tighten the filler cap. Do not over screw the filler cap.
NOTE: Without replacing filter element, 910ml of new oil is enough.
5)Start up engine by idling speed for a few minutes.
6)Stop the engine and wait a minute. Inspect the engine oil level through the engine oil level lens. Make sure that oil level is up to”F”.

CAUTION: Be sure to use engine oil recommended in the section Replacement of spark plug.

10. SPARK PLUG
Selection
Spark plug recommended: D8RTC/NGKD-7EA

Check and replace


1. Disconnect the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
2. Clean any dirt from around the spark plug base. Remove the spark plug by using the plug wrench available in the tool kit.
3. Inspect the electrodes and center porc el a in forerosion or carbo n deposit. If the erosion or deposit is heavy, replace the plug. Clean a
carbon deposit or wetfould plug with a plug cleaner, or use a wire brush.
4. Check the spark plug gap using a wire-type feeler gauge. If adjustment is necessary, bend the side electrode carefully. The spark plug gap
should be 0.6-0.7mm. Make sure the plug washer is in good condition.
5. W ith the plug washer attached, thread the spark plug in by hand first to prevent cross threading, and then tighten it up by means of spark
plug wrench.
6. Reinstall the spark plug cap.

CAUTION
The spark plug must be securely tightened. An improperly tightened plug can become very hot and possibly damage the engine.
Never use a spark plug with a improper heat range, otherwise , severe engine damage could result.

Clean the air cleaner element


Every 4000Km,at least clean and immerge the air cleaner element into engine oil one time. If you drive your motorcycle in a dusty district, make
sure more maintenance. our company’s Repair station(point) will according to your driving condition, help you decide right maintenance Period.

Check and adjustment of throttle grip operating


Check the turning position of the throttle grip’s two sides, whether it is steadily returnning from all open position to all close position.
Check whether the throttle grip handle’s free slack is 2~6mm.
Free crevice’s adjust way is loosing tighten screw, and turn adjusting bolt.

Carburetor’s idling speed adjustment


Start up the engine and let the engine run until it warms up fully.
After engine has warmed up, close the throttle and turn the throttle stop screw in or out so that the engine may run at 1500r/min.the idle speed
increase when Turn the bolt to clockwise ,and the idle speed decrease when turn the bolt to anti-clockwise.
When engine arrive to no idle speed is decreasing speed. Put the bolt in the middle Of the two limited position,so that suitable to the oil and
air’s mixture.
If the idle speed’s adjustment is not good, make sure adjust the idle speed’s bolt Once again.

Adjustment of clutch
Operate the clutch lever, make the free slack is10~20mm in the tail. If need To adjust, please looser the tighten nut, then make the adjustment.
Turn like the (A) position, it will make the left handle’s free slack decrease.
Remove the handle bar’s dusty cover, then adjust like the same way.
Check\adjustment and lubrication of drive chain If the drive chain become dirty, the drive chain and the sprocket is wore easily Therefore, clean
the drive chainwith solvent and oil very 1,000km with specified lubricating oil or motor oil.
Make the motorcycle stand with main stand, using hand pull the drive chain, and Using hand Press the chain in the
middle of the two chain wheel, and examine.
The drive chain tension. Adjust the chain tension to about 10~20mm.

Lubrication of drive chain


Remove the chain clap and get the chain, check wear- ing away suituation, if damage, it should be changed, the dusty chain should be cleaned,
then lubricate with chain lube Or motor oil periodically.

Rear brake pedal’s free slack is 20~30mm
When adjusted, turn the brake pole’s adjusting screw, and turn around right the slack decrease, and turn around left the slack increase.

Check front wheel disc brake
Parking the motorcycle on the ground, check brake oil pump, oil window’s oil position, if the oil surface is lower, make sure put into brake oil.
Loosen the bolt when putting oil, remove the pump cover is ok.

WARNING: the oil don’t over the up limited, pay attention to keep the cleaner, don’t Mix the other things.

Check the brake pads


Inspect the front brake pads by nothing whether or not the friction pads are worn down to the grooved Limit.
If a pad is worn to the grooved limit line it must be relplaced with a new one.

Battery maintenance
1.Using new battery
1.1Adding electrolyte
1.1.1Inspect battery appearance and make sure that there are no cracks, cuts on it and no damages on the battery terminal.
1.1.2Open the plug for filling the electrolyte.
1.1. 3 The specified electrolyte is stored in a bottle. Open the bottle and connect with plastic hose, and then fill the electrolyte into the battery
up to UPPER LEVEL. After filling electrolyte, wait for 20 minutes. Refill to UPPER LEVEL if electrolyte level goes down.
NOTE:Do not overfill electrolyte over the UPPER LEVEL.
1.1.4 The motorcycle can start off after 30 minutes after filling electrolyte. It is best to charge the battery for 3 to 5 hours before using as it can
ensure maximum performance and extend battery life, especially in win ter or kept for a long time.
1.1.5 Fasten plug. Mop up the spilt electrolyte.
1.2 Installation
1.2.1 Connect the battery exhaust hose with battery . Make sure the connection correctly without any damage or it may result in explosion of
battery, split electrolyte to damage your clothes and motorcycle.
1.2.2 When assemble,(+)positive terminal first(with red mark), then (-)negative terminal.
NOTE: Make sure install positive and negative ter minal correctly. Incorrect installation of the battery will reserve the terminal position
resulting in ignition switch and possible regulator/rectifier electrical system damage.
1.2.3 Fasten bolts and add butter or Vaseline on the bolts, nuts and terminals or to prevent them from rusty or poor lead connection.

2.Using and maintenance
2.1Do not start the engine for more than 5 seconds. If the engine can not operate after several attempts, check oil supply system , starter and
ignition system.
2.2The following operation will cause the battery self electric discharge or insufficient charging to shorten its useful life:
(1)Starting the engine frequently in a short distance
(2)Riding this motorcycle at low gear in long time
(3)Squeezing brake lever or depressing the rear brake pedal when riding to have brake lamp lit too often.
(4) Installing extra electrical system or replacing exces- sive power bulb.
2.3 Recharge the battery at once when: hard to start off, lamp light dim and horn not operated.
2.4Check the electrolyte level every 1-3 months. Re plenish electrolyte up to UPPER LEVEL with pured water or distilled water when level is
below the LOWER LEVEL.
NOTE: Never overfill electrolyte over the UPPER LEVEL.
Recharge the battery after refill with water.
2. 5 When keep for a long time, charge the battery at once and recharge once every month.
2.6 Charge the battery
2.6.1 Charge the battery with our company’s supplied charger. Charge battery indoors and where there is ventilation and keep the battery
away from fires.
2.6.2 Two charging methods: Standard charging and High- Speed charging. The standard charging is preferable as it can extend battery life.
Standard charging:electrical current: 0.7-0.8A;time:5-15hours
High- Speed charging:electrical current: 7-8A; time: ut- most 30 minutes
2.6.3 If electrolyte temperature is over 45°C,stop charging immediately. Recharge battery after it is cooled. Stop charging when there is much
vapor in the battery. Press or fasten the plug and mop up split electrolyte.

3. Notes
3.1 Incorrect using and charging will lead to explosion. Keep the battery away from fires. Make sure to check and install positive and negative
terminal correctly to avoid explosion.
3.2 Electrolyte may be harmful as it contains sulfuric acid. if swallowed or if it comes in contact with skin, eyes and clothes. If electrolyte is
swallowed, drink plenty of water or milk and contact your doctor immediately.
3.3 Place the electrolyte where children are not likely to touch.
3.4 Do not install un-recommended anti-theft alarm as dam- age may result to the electrical system, battery, ignition system or regulator/rectifier.
It is advisable that install the anti-theft alarm supplied by our company.
