The world’s largest democracy is performing the world’s largest reality show, which if not for the huge

stake
involved in it, would have been a perfectly comedy off errors, but turning out to be a ridiculous exercise of
betrayal and treachery. There is no denying of the fact that the exercise of democracy in India is a miracle of
sorts, with more diversity than Europe, with more undeveloped pockets than Sub-Saharan Africa, with more
number of illiterates than the entire population of the United States. The Indian people have shown amazing
resilience and optimism in expressing their faith in democracy election after election
