Fine Notification to foreign Countries---

General Informations:

According to the Italian Road Traffic Code fine’s notification to foreign countries is allowed
within 360 days from the infraction day or in case of rented vehicle from the day when the
Authorities get the leaser data from the rental company.
The Municipality of Bologna has commissioned the Multiservizi Srl company for the notification
of fines reports abroad.
Multiservizi Srl is based in Acquapendente (VT) - Italy.

RENTED CAR IN ITALY

If you have rented a vehicle in Italy, and the rental company reteins an amount from your
credit card for the handling to the authorities fees, about the traffic violations you incurred
during the rental of the vehicle, this may depend on the terms of the contract signed and must be
verified directly with them.
We are not responsable about this agreement between you and the rental company.
Anyway , this issue has nothing to do with the fine amount you still will owe to the Bologna
Municipal Police.

In case you found a ticket on the WINDSHIELD, you can pay it by bank transfer online
without additional charges, according to the following this instructions:
 TARGA - insert the car plate number
 NUMERO VERBALE - insert the fine number without numbers after the dash
 if you failed with the fiscal code site request, please try inserting 16 asterisks or ignore
the request at all and go on.
 put your e-mail address and confirm
 at this point the site will propose you the different types of payment possible ( credit card,
home banking, etc..)
 It's necessary to choose among one of the bank circuits offered by the system, simply
intermediary in the payment operation applying a fee ( euros 1,00/1,50)

Warning:
We recomend to pay as soon as possible, at least within a week, to avoid the fine notification.
Therefore after the payment please give us notice about it sending a copy of your payment
receipt by e-mail to verbalicodicedellastrada@pec.comune.bologna.it

In case you get the fine notification please make the payment by following the instructions
provided in the document.sent.
