Exercise 3.
Cambia los siguientes enunciados al tiempo pasado simple (simple past). Pon especial atención en utilizar los
verbos en su forma correcta en pasado. Observa que cada enunciado en pasado ya tiene incorporada la
expresión de tiempo adecuada para complementar los enunciados: yesterday (ayer), last year (el año
pasado), last summer (el verano pasado), an hour ago (hace una hora).

Exercise 4. Composition.
Escribe una breve composición en inglés sobre las actividades que realizaste el fin de semana. Asegúrate de
usar correctamente los tiempos verbales en pasado y las expresiones de tiempo (last weekend, last Saturday,
etc). Escribe 100 palabras como mínimo.

Two weeks ago, we were off all week long, so I visited Mexico City and I spent all my Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day there. But the city ain’t be what it used to be the last time that I visited it, in
fact city’s one of the most unsafe cities around all world but I didn’t realize about that until I heard
on radio that Mexico City has got several holds up on the last months but I didn’t care much and I
visited the downtown and all the sights and I visited places that I’ve never been there before,
actually was pretty nice but I forgot to go at pyramids that unfortunately now I don’t stood second
chance to visit them.

On my last days I didn’t do anything else, I spent the whole time watchin’ TV only that personally I
don’t like, because I feel like a coach potato wasting my time watching ridiculous TV shows and
stuff like that, until I decided to came back at home with all my family. Personally It was quite
good to be honest and hopefully I’ll go to another city the next summer vacations actually I’ve
been looking for a good beach to visit and spend the whole time resting and eating exotic fruits.
