THEPRINCIPLE
AnkurScientificoffersa completelynew processfor gasifyingCoal.The systemsoffereduse a Downdraftprocessinsteadof the
convenlionalupdraftprocess.In the downdraftprocess,the coal is fed into the Gasifierfrom the top whilethe gas generatedis taken
out from the bottom.This leadsto the gas beingalmosttar free.

As the gas is almosttar-free,from an environmental

perspective, the syslem is a boon.Thereis no needof tar catchersand there is
no needto disposeof the same.This is a very largebenefitas this facilitatesa move awayfrom Policing(how much tar is generated;
how is it disposed off; where)to Prevention.
