My name is Beum Chung, and I will be the student teacher for your student’s English class
in the Spring. I’d been working in video games and telecom for ten years when I realized that my
favorite part of every job always involved training and teaching new employees. This led to a
change in career, and I’m now part of the Teach Arizona graduate program through the College of
Education at the University of Arizona.
As part of Teach Arizona, I have already spent the Fall semester working with students in
Ms. Turner’s classroom through observation and team teaching. I will now be taking the lead
instructional role for two of Ms. Turner’s classes during the Spring. Ms. Turner and a University of
Arizona supervisor will be observing my work with the students and providing any needed
assistance.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with your students, and I am excited to
continue working with them throughout the rest of the year. If you have any questions or concerns,
I can be reached via email at bhchung@email.arizona.edu or by phone at 602-935-1798. Ms.
Turner is also still available at turner.carla@cusd80.com and 480-883-5167; please feel free to
include us both on any correspondence!
Warm Regards,
Beum-Ho Chung
Please detach the section below and return to the teacher for 10 HW points.
