Student Teaching: Third Street School: Belvidere, NJ | First Grade
• Developed creative, hands-on lessons incorporating STEM for first grade students.
• Established myself as a reliable and friendly worker who the other teachers could ask for help.
• Developed a 2-week unit focussing on Landforms for fifth grade students, culminating with an event on the
last day for parents to come in.
• Designed creative, 3-dimensional bulletin boards and classroom decor throughout the hallway.
• Taught a hands-on lesson about seeds to students where they each acted as a scientist, were given a
different fruit and explored the inside and outside with a partner.
• Observed a focus student for a case study and also observed the teacher.
• Developed an appreciation for using music in the classroom to help students focus and learn.
