and letters
Learning Reading 3.1.1
Standard : Identify, recognise and name the letters of the alphabet

Pupils will be Able to blend phonemes into recognizable words.

Objectives :

Set Induction:
~ Get pupils to talk about themselves in front of the class with teacher
guidance.
Activities : 1.- Teacher divides pupils into 2 groups boys and girls.
2.- Choose about 5 or 7 words which pupils will need for the lesson.
3.- Show the flashcards or real objects of these vocabulary items.
4.- Ask pupils to say and spell the words.
5.- Check briefly with the whole class.

Assessment : Game(Position)–Show pictures and ask pupils to say the words/ letters aloud.
Teaching aids : Textbook , Picture cards, whiteboard, Flashcards or real /objects, worksheet.
