Surface Preparation : The concrete substrate must be cured for minimum 28 days and have a moisture content of less than 5%
prior to application of epoxy coating. It is most important that the substrate must be correctly prepared prior
to application. It should be sound and free from contamination such as oil, grease, mortar and paint splashes
or any curing compound residues. Laitence can be removed by the use of mechanical methods, dust and
other debris should be removed by vacuum cleaning. Sound and clean substrate is essential to achieve
maximum adhesion. Oil and grease penetration should be removed by the use of proprietary chemical
degreaser or grinding media.

Application Condition : Temperature (air, surface, material):

55°-95°F or 13°C-35°C (At least 5°F above the dew point)
Relative humidity: 85 % maximum.

Method of Application : Thinning: An epoxy thinner is used for cleaning the paint tools only.
Stir both epoxy base and catalyst separately thoroughly, then mix together and again stir thoroughly.
The mixture must stand for at least 10 mins. before using.

This product may be applied by any of the following:

1. Airless Spray : Pressure: 2500PSI Filter: 60mesh Tip: 0.15˝
2. Brush : China Bristle
3. Roller : ¼” to ¾ “ nap.

Application System : Sand blasting is usually recommended vacuum blasting and grit blasting would work
as well, and furthermore it is recommended to:

1. One coat Chemiguard Epoxy SF Sealer

2. Two coats of Chemiguard Epoxy 1905 Topcoat (HB)

Precautions : Combustible. Keep away from heat and open flame.
