How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning
and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 350 words)

In my magazine I plan to use a mixture of light and dark colors to present it in a way that makes the

main picture stick out, this means that the picture will have more of an impact because it has been
singled out and 'highlighted'. The target market I have chosen for Your Food is 16-25 year olds, men and

women. The photos that are used will be following the ASA rules with the appropriate marketing. I plan
to have one photo of a man with the food and then another photo of a woman so it covers genders.
Then my third and fourth photos will be just of the food with a simple background. The photos will also

be taken in two different locations one will be in a working environment (acting as someones lunch who
is at work) and the other in a relaxed rested environment (for dinner when people are out of work) this

also suggests that people can eat Your Food for lunch and dinner. My Typography will be the second
biggest visual on the page showing its the second most important attention grabber. The text will have

a reference to Your Food meaning that it gives the main picture some context, I will also include a
slogan on the page which helps people remember Your Food.

My slogan is 'Have Your Food and smile' I have chosen this because it sends a good message of

smiling while eating Your Food showing happiness, enjoyment etc. I will use photoshop to edit the
background and main picture making the pictures look better so that people are more likely to want it.

Little writing will be used because its not necessary and the most effective adverts dont have lots of
writing because people won't want to sit there reading through it. The slogan will also be repeated
