Summary: Responsible for the design and analysis of industrial equipment and machinery including the determination of
product size, product specifications, capacities, design parameters, and performance to meet company requirements.
Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or
electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems. Ensures that quality levels and industry standards
are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process. Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost-
effectiveness and efficiency. May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate
malfunctions.Experience: Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Solves complex problems. Generally, 2-5
years directly related experience (in-depth knowledge or experience). Education: Four Year Degree in the US (or Local/
National/Country qualifications for rest of world). Reports To: Manager or Sr Manager, Mechanical Engineering
