1. General Warnings
1. HIGH ENERGY HAZARD. The System Controller "Mini CSU-3" is located with
electrical cubicles that are fed from high-voltage sources and/or low impedance
energy sources capable of delivering high energy. Follow all necessary safety
procedures, including, but not limited to, isolating all power supplies and energy
sources (including all batteries and rectifiers) before inspecting, installing, working
on, or making any changes to, any part of the electrical installation.
2. The procedures described in this document must only be carried out by authorised
and qualified service personnel.
2. Procedure
2.1 Launch WinCSU.
Ensure that you have downloaded and installed the latest version of WinCSU-2 from our
FTP server. Instructions for doing this are available upon request.
Launch WinCSU in the normal way (via the START button, or via the shortcut on your
Windows "desktop". When WinCSU starts up, you may be asked to login. If so, you
must login as "Administrator". The default password is "configuration" (note the case).
This password may have been changed. If the password has been changed, you will
need to discuss this matter with your IT staff; Rectifier Technologies cannot assist in
recovering passwords.

The Operator File will be automatically named and saved into a special folder; there is
no dialog box asking for a file name.
The filename of the newly created Operator File will appear at the bottom left of the
screen, take note of it, this will help you locate the file later.
Once you have completed saving Operator files, disconnect from the CSU by clicking
on the "Standby button" in top left corner.

The operator files are stored in a folder located where the WinCSU program was
installed. If you have installed WinCSU by following the default installation instructions,
the WinCSU folder will be located here:
Fig. 2.5a.
If you have a different version of WinCSU, the last part of the folder name will have
changed (the numeric part of the folder name will change to match the part number and
version of the WinCSU software). The version of the WinCSU software can be found
simply by launching WinCSU and then clicking on "Help" then "About".
The operator files are always saved in a folder under the WinCSU installation folder,
called "CSUoper". Open that folder, and identify the files that have been saved in the
last session with WinCSU. Use the date information to help identify which files you
created. Please ensure that you collect ALL of the files that you have created, this will
assist with technical support.
