Economics, Psychology, Sociology.
iii) Only those candidates are eligible for
admission who have passed any of the above
mentioned subjects in BA/BSc or equivalent
degree in any of the science subject Marks in BA, BSc, or
MSc Geography equivalent
iv) Maximum age limit for admission in MSc
Geography is 28 years on the last day fixed
for the receipt application
v) those applicants are eligible for admission
who got at least 2nd division BA/BSC or
equitant.
Merit calculation formula
(i obtained marks + marks in Geography
Example 520+130 = 650 (ii obtained marks +
10 marks for each subject mentioned in
eligibility criteria (up to the maximum 30
marks)
Example1 520+10=530, (for one subject)
Example2 520+20 =540 (for two subjects)
Geography Example3 520+30=550 (for three or more
subjects)

Intermediate or equivalent with not less than


45% marks. However, Merit will be determined
in the following order of preference
i. F.A./F.Sc. or equivalent+ marks in
Geography.
ii. Marks obtained in F.A./F.Sc. +10 marks for
each of the following subjects (upto the
maximum of 30 mark(s) Physic, Chemistry,
Biology, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer ,
Economics, Sociology and Psychology.
iii. Maximum age limit for admission in BS
Geography is 23-years on the last day fixed
for the receipt of application.
