The University of Ghana announces that it will hold Congregation Ceremonies for students from the under-mentioned Colleges/Schools of Graduate Studies who
successfully completed their programmes in 2016. The July Congregation Ceremony will be held at the Great Hall as follows:

Morning Session: 8.45 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. Afternoon Session: 1.45 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.

◊ College of Education - (MPhil/MA/BSc/BA/Diploma)

Accordingly, students who completed their programmes from the named
Colleges/Schools of Graduate Studies and who wish to be presented during the
July 2016 ceremony are required to register from Friday, 8th July, 2016 to
Monday, 18th July, 2016.
Lists of graduands to be presented in July 2016 will be available on notice boards
at the Balme Library and on the University’s website, http://www.ug.edu.gh.
Graduands are required to register on-line through the University of Ghana
website, http://www.ug.edu.gh, after which they are required to pay GH¢ 200.
Payment options and additional information are available on the congregation
page, http://www.ug.edu.gh/congregation. Graduands would then collect
their graduation gowns, invitation cards for graduands and two guests at their
Colleges/School of Graduate Studies.
All Graduands will be provided with University souvenirs in the form of neckties
for males and scarves for females at registration, which they are encouraged to
use on the day.
Those to be presented should come along with their invitation card and ensure
their two guests bring their cards as well. Admission is strictly by invitation.
Graduands are expected to be seated in the Great Hall in the academic gown
appropriate to their degrees/Diploma, worn preferably over a suit/jacket with tie
or other suitable dress.
PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid traffic congestion on the congregation days:
1. All entry and exit points to/from the University will be opened to the public.
2. The general public is advised to use alternative routes if they do not have any
immediate business on the Legon Campus.
