A Resolution Recommending the Award of Contract to SHERPRINTS

ENTERPRISE for the Supply and Delivery of T-shirt with collar and BIR Logo

WHEREAS, the BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE, RR-3, Tuguegarao

City, is in need of a qualified provider for the “Supply and Delivery of T-shirt with
collar and BIR logo” to be used for the upcoming unveiling of the BIR slogan
“Salamat Sa Iyo” on February 12, 2018;

WHEREAS, the BIR posted the Request for Quotation on 05 February 2018
for the “Supply and Delivery of T-shirt with collar and BIR logo” with an Approved
Budget for Contract (ABC) amounting to One Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos
(₱120,000.00) on the website of Philippine Government Electronic Procurement
System (PhilGEPS) and posted the same in a conspicuous place at the premises of
BIR;

WHEREAS, in response to the said advertisement, two (2) bidders submitted

their quotation within the prescribed period from 05 February 2018 to 09 February
2018;

WHEREAS, the proposals submitted by the bidders were as follows:

WHEREAS, ZHUGAR MFG INC. submitted the Lowest Calculated Bid of Seventy-
Eight Thousand Pesos (₱78,000.00);

WHEREAS, there is an urgent need for Zhugar MFG Inc. to deliver the T-
shirts with collar and BIR logo in time for their usage on 12 February 2018;

WHEREAS, per evaluation, Zhugar MFG Inc. cannot deliver on time the T-
shirts with collar and BIR logo. While, Sherprints Enterprise can deliver on time the
T-shirts with collar and BIR logo;

WHEREAS, Sherprints Enterprise has been found responsive to the

requirements under the Request for Quotation (RFQ) with the Lowest Calculated
Responsive Bid;
 WHEREAS, Section 12 of R.A. 9184 mandates that the Bids and Awards
Committee (BAC) shall recommend the award of contract to the Head of the
Procuring Entity;

NOW, THEREFORE, We, the members of the Bids and Awards Committee
(BAC) RESOLVES as it is hereby RESOLVED to recommend the award of the
contract through Small Value Procurement in the amount of One Hundred Twenty
Thousand Pesos (₱120,000.00) to SHERPRINTS ENTERPRISE which submitted
the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bid.
