Operation

Power the Machine on

1. The device is powered with 220V input voltage.

2. Power the machine on.
Turn the emergency stop button on by turning it clockwise until it bounces up.
3. Start the computer.
Press the black on-off button on computer host. ( The yellow button is for rebooting computer. )
Install driver when connecting computer with machine for the first time.
4. Power the Laser on.
Press green laser button.

The Adjustment Before Marking

1. Double-click the software EzCad .

2. Import the image and adjust its shape and parameters.
3. Focus the scanning head and set the focus length after
taking off the cover of lens.
PS: Refer to the label on laser head for the modulated focus length.
PS: The length is the distance between the surface of marking
piece and the reference line on scanning head, like the picture on the
left.

4. Turn the red light on to locate the patterns/characters that

will be marked on the marking piece after all the adjustment.
After the location, turn the red light off.
5. Click the “Mark”

( More details about the software operation can be got from the software instruction. )

Note:
1) Any Anti-virus Software should not be installed in the computer system.
2) Please power on the machine in order: starting up the computer, powering on the laser, and
doubling click the software.
3) Please power off the machine in order: closing the software, turning off the laser, and powering
off the computer, and at last powering off the whole machine.

Maintenance
Dos and Don’ts Before Working
1. For reasons of safety, always disconnect the power cord from the main socket before any maintenance operation.
2. Must cut off 220V power supply first during obviating the breakdown, strictly forbid pull out or insert each kind of
cable and linking wire within the machine under electric state.
3. The equipment should not be left unused for a long time. It should be used and work for at least ten minutes each
week.
4 . The machine surface, the worktable surface, the surface of installing linear bearing, and the stepping motor should be
kept clean. There cannot be water and greasy dirt. If water or oil is dripped to the surface carelessly, it should be cleaned
out at once after using.

Maintenance Regulations
1. To Cleaning Mirrors
1. Please keep the laser machine power off when cleaning.
2. The lens belongs to the breakables, be careful extremely while cleaning.
3. Wipe the lens gently with soft fabrics and absolute ethyl alcohol.
Note: Do not damage the surface coating; When wiping , it should be handle them gently and carefully.

2. To Cleaning the Exhaust Fan

After long time to use exhaust fan, there will be solid accumulation of dust inside fan so that large noise will be
made and peculiar smell will occur. It would influence the engraving quality if the result of exhausting is not very
well, which will decrease the service life.
1. The vent-pipe of the exhaust fan should be cleaned according to the size of workload and the polluted degree.
2. Firstly power off, when the smoke is not enough to exhaust.
3. Please discharge pipes of exhaust fan to clean their interior.
4. Let the fan stand its head, clean the wind leaf and assemble the exhaust fan after dried.
