compare all planets in the solar system.

Summary
Brainstorming activity is done with the whole class. Prezi presentation on comparatives is provided. A
short video clip is shown to students. After reading text is given to students, the matching activity is
done. In groups of four, students draw a mind-map.

Matching planets with features and teacher observation.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
In this week, planets will be introduced to the students with an infographic handout at the beginning
of the lesson. After a brainstorming, a Prezi presentation and a video on planets and comparatives are
provided. Then, they will be given a reading text and asked to do a matching activity. At the end of the
lesson, they will create a mind-map on planets in groups. Back-up plan: In case there is a technical
problem, teacher will use the hardcopies of the presentation.
