JJ’s Shakes
Business Plan
JJ’s Shakes is a service company that provides a variety of shakes from, fruit shakes, to
protein shakes and even sweet treats! I plan to sell my special shakes to the public in my
area. My business is located at 316 Nichols Ave. Atlanta, GA. 30303
The market trend of JJ’s Shakes is the beauty, colors and burst of flavor. My customers
vary from health activists, kids that are in LOVE with sweet, and just the modern day
person who wants an extra boost to their day! My competition consists of businesses that
sell protein shakes, fruit shakes, slushes, and also regular milk shakes of all kind. Shake
Shack and Steak 'n Shake are competition that are close by. As it is obviously shown we
are in competition with all types of shake companies, and that is because we are different
by selling what they all sell in one place. Risks of my business is that it doesn’t get much
recognition. Also the materials that are needed for the shakes might cost more than the
shakes make, which could eventually end the profit. The custom made cups for the one of
a kind shakes will come from a warehouse made in China. The non-perishable
ingredients for each shake will be bought in abundance, and the perishable items (such as
fruits, vegetables etc.) will be bought weekly from wholesale.
There will need to be approximately 6 workers for this business. Each will have specific
jobs, and of course the staff will have to grow as the business grows. One worker will be
in charge of portioning the amount of ingredients for each individual shake. Another
worker will be blending the ingredients and putting them in cups. Another 2 workers will
be manning the register and taking orders. The other worker will be cutting up and
preparing fruits, nuts, greens and any other thing that comes as wholes. The last person
will be walking around making sure that everyone is 100% satisfied with the service, and
showing customers that we are a friendly first business. That person is very important
because they convince people to return, bring new people, and try new flavors!
The product is needed to help give those who need it an extra boost, and give others a
nice sweet treat. Each shake will be priced at $4 except for the original strawberry,
vanilla, and chocolate which will be priced at $2. I have provided flyers, and used social
media to present my business to the public. As the business grows and the profits increase
we can vary the way we spread our business info from billboards to commercials.
These products will be sold in my storefront at 316 Nichols Ave. Atlanta, GA. 30303
My team members and coworkers need to have a couple of skills. They would have to
have good customer service skills, be able to talk to and make friends, remember faces,
and know flavors and ingredients.
