rrera profesional. Creación del Catálogo de Formación basado en
competencias para estructurar un plan de carrera enfocado a me-
jorar los conocimientos en incendios forestales de los servicios
de extinción.
• Intercambios de conocimiento entre países con formadores acre-
ditados de distintas organizaciones. Trabajamos con entidades y
servicios de extinción de todo el mundo para compartir nuestro
conocimiento y experiencias en incendios forestales (Metropoli-
tan College of New York, Ministerio de Medio Ambiente de España,
USFS, etc.)
• Capacidad de desplazar a formadores acreditados a cualquier
parte del mundo. Colaboramos con entidades en países como Ar-
gentina, Italia, Reino Unido, Irlanda o Dinamarca para ayudar al
desarrollo de la carrera profesional de su personal.
• Training in wildfires by competences and professional career devel-
opment. A Training Catalogue based on competences is available to
help develop professional careeres through improving the knowledge
on wildfires.
• Exchanges of knowledge between countries with qualified trainers
from different organisations. We work with emergency management
entities and fire and rescue services worldwide to share our knowledge
and experience on wildfires (Metropolitan College of New York, Spanish
Ministry of Environment, USFS, etc.)
• Capacity to move recognized qualified trainers to any country. We
collaborate with entities in countries such as Argentina, Italy, the UK,
Ireland or Denmark to help on the development of their staff’s profes-
sional careers.

NASA World Wind Europe EMXSYS y la Pau Costa Foundation recibieron este premio de la NASA
World Wind Europe Challenge, por desarrollar un software que introdujo
Challenge 2013 una nueva visión para la predicción y el análisis del comportamiento de los
incendios forestales.
EMXSYS and the Pau Costa Foundation received this award from the NASA
World Wind Europe Challenge for developing a software with a new vision for
the prediction and analysis of the wildfire behavior.

Wildland Fire Safey Marc Castellnou, presidente del Patronato de la Pau Costa Foundation reci-
