At the end of the lesson, some pupils will be able to talk about what their favourite song, chant or game is from the
C unit.
1. Write the toys in scrambled letter order on the board.
I. PRE-LESSON
2. Pupils work in pairs and write each word correctly.
1. Activity 1:
Demonstrate the game for pupils by playing it with one or two pupils at the front. Pupils
take turns to roll the dice and then say and spell the word in the square they land on. If
they can’t say the word or spell it correctly, they miss a turn. Pupils play the game in groups
of four. Monitor and help as and when necessary. If time, make new groups for pupils to
play the game again.

II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT
Distribute worksheets.(WB page 120) In pairs, pupils take turns to point to one of the
pictures and say the word. Then pupils write the words under the pictures.
3. Activity 3:
Distribute worksheets. Ask pupils to work individually/in pairs to draw and write
examples of what they know. Go around the class to help and check pupils’ work before
sharing a few examples with the whole class. Display pupils’ work on the wall of the
classroom and conduct gallery walk.

1. Ask pupils what their favourite song, chant or game is from the unit.
