The Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to provide detailed instructions on how to
install NOIXACL2.0.6.
With NOIXACL 2.0.6 there are six files to download. They are:
Component:
1) noixacl2.0.6.zip
Modules:
1) mod_mainmenu_noix.zip
Adapters:
1) adapterAccess1.5.3.zip
2) adapterContent1.5.5.zip
3) adapterModulesv1.0.zip
4) menuAdapter1.5.1.zip
Language: These installation and project documents were created with the
NOIX English files installed:

Step 4: Select and then click on the Open button to continue the install process.
Step 5: Select the noixacl2.0.6.zip file. It will appear in the Package File input box.

Step 6: Now click on the Upload file and Install button.
Step 7: When you have successfully installed the noix component you will be
shown a message 'Installed Component Success'.
Step 8: When you have successfully installed the component it can be viewed
by navigating to: Component->Access Control.

Step 10: Now, there are 4 Adapters that need to be downloaded and installed.
1) adapterAccess1.5.3.zip
2) adapterContent1.5.5.zip
3) adapterModulesv1.0.zip
4) menuAdapter1.5.1.zip
With each successful download and install you will be notified with a
message: Install adapter Success.

Step 12: Next, navigate to: Components->Access Control->Manage Levels
Notice that by default there are three access Levels:
1) Public,
2) Registered and
3) Special.
The Public level is used to identify content that can be viewed by anyone
visiting your Joomla site.
The Registered level is used to identify content that can only be viewed
by users that have logged into the Joomla site.
The Special level is used to identify your uniquely defined documents.

Step 14: Next, navigate to: Components->Access Control->Manage Adapters
Notice that all of the adapters are currently disabled.
In the next set of instructions, we will enable selected adapters.
