World of Self a. Pre lesson:
 teacher puts up a poem chart on the board (AB page 8)
 teacher recites the poem, pupils listen and follow
 teacher divides the class into 2 groups
 teacher conducts echo rhyme
TOPIC
 group a recites the first line, group 2 follows
UNIT 1  teacher checks pronunciation, rhythm and intonation

b. While lesson:
 Mainstream : Recite the poem with actions:
o pupils practice in groups of 5
o pupils perform in front of the class
 Linus: Listen and recite:
o pupils work in a big group
o teacher guides the pupils to recite the poem with actions
o pupils listen and follow

c. Post lesson:
 teacher explains to pupils how to do this activity
 Mainstream: Pupils complete the poem at AB page 8. Then, pupils write their own poem by
substituting the nouns. Pupils decorate their poem.
 Linus: Teacher uses flash cards to guide the pupils completing the poem. Pupils rewrite the
poem in a piece of paper. Pupils decorate the poem.
