Overview
In this week’s assignment, you will have an opportunity to participate in a web conference, write
your vision of educational technology, reflect on course-embedded assignments from EDLD
5362 Information Systems Management and EDLD 5364 Teaching with Technology. You will
also read Chapters 3 and 4 from your text and reflect on Technology Facilitator Standard III –
Teaching, Learning, and the Curriculum and Technology Facilitator Standard IV – Assessment
and Evaluation.

The Final Report should encompass your total internship experience. Components should
include the following:
• Your vision of educational technology using the most current Horizon K-12 Report as
a resource (15 points). This section of your comprehensive exam should follow your
introduction goal statement (15 points), and educational technology leadership goals
(15 points). (Week 2 or designated date as stated by your instructor.)
• Using Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th Ed.,
October 2009 or later, p. 41-59, prepare the vision paper for the next section of your

Beyond educational computing and technology foundations for teachers, ISTE has established
Technology Facilitation Standards for teacher education programs or professional development
that prepare candidates to serve as building/campus-level technology facilitators. Candidates
completing this program will exhibit knowledge, skills, and dispositions equipping them to teach
technology applications; demonstrate effective use of technology to support student learning of
