Procedure :
1/ Speaking test : two pupils are invited . It is a conversation between two
classmates speaking about their hobbies. (5 mn )
2 / warming up : I ask the same questions to the others to refresh their minds
review the uses of the previous functions ( 3 mn )
3 /In pairs they do activity 2 page 9 ( activity book ) ( 7 mn )
4 / oral summary of the use of to be to move to activity 4 ( 3 mn )
5 / Activity 4 page 11 ( activity book ) to consolidate the different uses of to be
in the simple present .A pair work ( 7 mn )
6 / we draw a spider gram to revise some activities that are the students’
hobbies .this is an introduction for the listening ( 4 mn )
7 / activity listening a and b page 17 ( student book ) ( 8 mn )
8 / present the project work : the family tree with photographs if possible –they use
the language they have learnt to write about the following : ( 2 mn )
* introduce them
* describe their pastime activities.
