Fairy Liquid enters SR

Fairy: Hello Boys & Girls

(A: Hello)

Fairy: My name is Fairy Liquid, and this is the tale of Sleeping Beauty! A maiden fair and beautiful.
This tale involves betrayal, trust and above all love! But we must be careful as the evil Wicked Weiner
is out to find her and destroy her. So, whenever she comes on you all must boo as loud as you can.
Can you do that?

(A: Yes)

Fairy: Let’s give it ago one, two, three

(A: Boo)

Fairy: I can’t hear you

(A: Boo!)

Suddenly a crash of thunder and Wicked Weiner appears SL, accompanied by ‘Alexa’

W: Ahahaha!!! Aha so this is where you’re hiding…How…povo…Alexa!

Alexa: Yes your wickedness

W: Tell me my daily reminders

Alexa: Yes Malevolent, Today’s reminders…pop that soap bubble

Fairy: What are you doing here?

W: I’m here to make sure that you are not trying ruin my plan to take over P-Town

Fairy: You’ll never get away with it!

W: Oh yes I will

Fairy: Oh no you…

W: Shut Up! Now heed my warning if you don’t obey me then you will feel wrath!!! Ahahahaha…
ALEXA!!! PLAY THE MUSIC

SWAGGER JAGGER (RAP BATTLE)

W: You can’t stop looking at me, staring at me, be what I be

Fairy: You can’t stop looking at me, so get up out my face

Both: You can’t stop flting at me, cursing at me, wanna be me. I can’t stop it’s what I’m gonna be,
my spells are In check.

W: Get on the floor, get, get, get, get on the floor. My spells are in check.
Fairy: Get on the floor get, get, get, get on the floor. My wand is in check

Alexa powers down

Alexa: This Alexa has lost connection, please connect to WIFI

W: Ya couldn’t better WIFI?

Fairy: I’m with Virgin I swear

W: Ugh…I’ve had enough, Alexa…Alexa…Ugh

She drags Alexa offstage

Fairy: Oh, dear Boys and Girls, I fear that trouble maybe near but never fear because Fairy Liquid is
here! but now we must travel to where our story starts The Kingdom of Portsmouth!
 SCENE 1:

THE KINGDOM OF PORTSMOUTH

NICEST KIDS IN TOWN

Fairy: Oh every early morning when the clock strikes ten yeah

A chavy bunch of kids crash through downtown yeah

Well they leave half drunk pints in guildhall square behind

And then

All: they chug it, chug it, chug it

Fairy: like they’re losing there minds, you’ll never see them frown

All: cause they’re the sickest kids in ptown

Fairy: They’re the nicest, nicest

When the song ends, Prince James sits on a chair with Nurse Nelly polishing his shoes

James: Oh Nelly…Why can’t I find someone who loves me for me and not my money

Nelly: Well you might want to start by change your Tinder name from

James: It doesn’t help that my father is insisting I get married by Christmas

Nelly: He only wants what’s best for you James and if you can’t find anyone then…I’m available

James: Real funny, Nelly. Come on we must find some food for the feast tonight!

Princess Talia walks on SR and there is a moment between her and James looking at each other in
slow motion as she walks past. SLOW MOTION MUSIC
James: Who’s that?

NellyAlexa: That’s the princess of Portsmouth…Her name is Princess Talia (Extra Info)

James: Talia?

EVERYONE PAUSES AND FAIRY LIQUID APPEARS SR

Fairy: It seems love is in the air girls and boys but it seems I forgot to tell you about the curse and
why Malevolent is trying to get rid of Talia!

FLASHBACK
Fairy: When the princess was born, her mother and father threw a huge party and invited all but The
Wicked Weiner…this made her angry, so she placed a curse on the baby that when she turned 18 she
would pick her finger on a sharp object and fall into a deep sleep. Only true love’s kiss can break the
curse and that’s why it’s so important to get these two love birds together. But they’ll never be able
to fall in love here so maybe I should help!

She puts an invitation to the sesh in Nelly’s basket and exits

Nelly: Hello…Lover boy…

Notices the invite

Nelly: Oh I say James, look here an invitation to the sesh tonight for you

James: Me?

Nelly: Yes…You should go as you’re so smitten although I’m not sure what you see in her when you
could have a real woman like m….

By now James has rushed off SL to get ready

Nelly: Charming!!

Nelly exits SL
 SCENE 2:

TALIA’S SESH

Everyone is dancing, Talia addresses the audience

Talia: Oh Hello, are you here for the party?

(A: Yes!!!)

Talia: Great! Well my name is Talia. This is my party for my 18 th birthday and to celebrate me
becoming the queen of Portsmouth…except my parents are determined to get me a husband before
the night is out.

RAVE MUSIC

Prince James enters SR with his friend

James: Where is she?

Friend: Who?

James: The one I had a long slow stare with

Friend: Isn’t that her there?

it fades into Love Story with this dialogue under the intro

James walks over to Talia

James: Excuse me my lady but would you do me the honour of joining me on the dance floor?

Talia: I’d love to

LOVE STORY

James: See the lights, see the party, the short skirts.

Talia: See you make your way through the crowd.

Both: and say hello, little did I know.

Talia: That you were Prince James, you were looking fit.

James: And my fairy said.

Liquid: Go and get with Talia.

Both: And I was drinking my Smirnoff. Begging you, please come dance.

As the song finishes Thunder strikes and Wicked Weiner appears SL followed by Alexa

W: What a party

Talia: Who are you?

W: Just someone who wants to give the new queen a present

Wicked Wiener hands Talia some hoop earrings

Talia: Why, thank you

W: No worries my dear…hope you enjoy them and be careful not to prick yourself

Talia addresses the audience…while this happens Alexa taps Prince James on the shoulder and when
he turns around she pulls him offstage

Talia: Aren’t these lovely, shall I try them on?

(A: NO!)

W: Oh yes, she should

(A: Oh no she shouldn’t)

W: Oh yes, she should

(A: Oh no she shouldn’t)

Talia: But the lady said that I should

(A: NO!)

Talia ignores them and goes to put them in but as she does, she pricks her finger and faints to the
floor

W: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Now I’ll rule the land

She exits SL just as Nelly enters SR

Nelly: Oh No!!! Talia! I must find Prince James and tell him the news

She exits SR

Blackout
 Scene 3

The forest

Fairy Liquid enters SR

Fairy: Oh dear boys and girls…whatever shall I do?

Malevolent enters SL

W: Nothing! That’s what

Fairy: Go away you evil witch you have no business here

Alexa: We do…we are on our way back from hiding the prince

W: SHHHHHH! For someone who’s meant to know everything you really don’t know when to shut up

Fairy: Well I’ll make sure you don’t get away with it…now be gone before someone drops a house on
you

Alexa: Wrong panto!

Fairy exits SR, Weiner & Alexa Exit SL

BLACKOUT

Nurse Nelly enters SR and finds Prince James sat on the floor

Nelly: Your Majesty!!

James: Nelly? Where am I?

Nelly: That witch’s sidekick kidnapped you and now Talia has been put into a deep deep sleep

James: NO! I must find her

Nelly But none of us know where she is

James: Well normally they are at the top of a tall tower

Nelly: Fair enough…the nearest tower is on the other side of the woods

Fairy Liquid enters SR

Fairy: That’s right! And I’m here to help

Liquid waves her wand and suddenly they are transported to the tower

Alexa enters SL and is guarding the door

John: Let me through!

Alexa: I can’t
James: Please! Can’t you see I’m in love

Nelly: There must be some sort of emotion in you

Fairy: Look deep inside your heart

Alexa starts to tear up

Alexa: Okay, go on through but be careful

James: Cheers Mate

Talia & Weiner enter SR

James, Nelly & Liquid go to where Talia is being held captive and find Wicked Weiner keeping guard

W: And what do you think you are doing?

James: I’m here to awaken Talia from the spell you put her under

W: Never!

Weiner pushes James back but Nelly & Liqud catch him. James goes to hit Weiner with his sword but
she knocks it from his hand. Nelly picks it up and hands it to James who goes to kill Weiner who
cowers in defeat.

W: Okay! I’m sorry

James: Promise you’ll never bother this kingdom or any other kingdom again

W: I promise!

Fairy: Now go

Wicked Weiner scuffles off SL

Nelly: Now’s your chance…kiss her

James goes over to Talia and kisses her forehead…she awakens from the spell

Talia: John?

James: It’s James

Talia: Oh…let’s try again

James: Talia! You’re alive!

Talia: You saved me, you’re my hero

James: I must ask you something…will you marry me?

Talia: Yes…I will

All: Hurray

the whole casts come to the front of the stage

Talia: Princess Talia needed a prince

James: and Prince James is who she found

Alexa: Now let me say on their wedding day

W: They have all their friends around

Nelly: We hope you’ve liked all the fun and fuss

Fairy: and rocked at times with laughter

All: Now may all you like all of us live happily ever after
