SUBJECT : SUSPENSION OF WORK ON DECEMBER 28, 2018

This is to inform all DSWD FO VIII Officers and Employees that there will be a suspension of
work on December 28, 2018 prior to the expected landfall of Tropical Depression Usman over
Eastern Samar today which will also affect the rest of Eastern Visayas as per the latest Severe
Weather Bulletin of PAGASA. This memorandum is pursuant to Executive Order No. 2018-
12-134 series of 2018 or an Executive Order Declaring the Suspension of Work in All
Government Offices in Tacloban City on December 28, 2018.

However, the following Sections/Units/Programs are directed to assign skeletal team to be

present on December 28, 2018, to wit:

1. DRMD (Skeletal Team)

2. RROC/Hub (Skeletal Team)
3. Frontline Services (CIS/MTA) and PACD assigned on December 28, 2018;
4. Skeletal Staff of Administrative Division (ensure to assign a utility, who will clean up
the Frontline Services Area and a driver.)

Those who are directed to report are entitled to compensatory day-off subject to applicable
guidelines while Job Order workers will be paid for their services rendered.

Further, those who are based outside Tacloban City, work suspension will only take effect once
a local suspension of work is issued by their respected Local Chief Executive.
