The Bel Canto String Quartet agrees to provide music for your function on the above-
mentioned date. The group will consist of four musicians, comprised of a cellist, a first and
second violinist and a viola player.

Conditions:
 All details and arrangements are to be finalised 1 week in advance.
 Additional time will be charged for at the specified rate should the quartet be needed
beyond the agreed upon playing time.
 Additional time will be charged for at a specified rate should the quartet be needed to
meet with singers/outside musicians.
 Should the quartet be required to attend rehearsals prior to the occasion, a rate equal
to that for playing time will be charged (subject to a minimum of 1 hour).
 A fee will be charged if there are any requests for special arrangement of a piece of
music that is not in the quartet’s repertoire.
 Cancellations may be made up until 1 week (7 days) before the function. Any
cancellations received after this time will entail a loss of deposit. Original prices
quoted before cancellation is subject to change if function is held at a later date.
 Note: The hourly rate refers to the duration for which the quartet is booked, not the
amount of time for which they actually perform. A 20-minute break is included for any
duration exceeding two hours.
 Email confirmation will be regarded as a signature.
 Please note that should there be adverse weather conditions such as rain or strong
winds which could result in damage to instruments or equipment, the string quartet
cannot play outside in these conditions. If the client insists on the string quartet
playing in these conditions, they will be liable for any instrument or equipment
damage.

Please sign the completed form and return to the Bel Canto Representative at your earliest
convenience. You will be contacted once your function date and time have been scheduled.
Upon date of confirmation you will have seven working days to pay a 50% deposit to confirm
the booking. The total amount outstanding is due before or on the date of function. Please
fax or e-mail proof of payments to the representative below. Signature below (see conditions
above if e-mailed) and payment of the deposit assumes your acceptance of the conditions
stipulated above.
