Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji was a great visionary with tremendous personal charisma. Simple and humble,
Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji possessed profound wisdom & nobility that always stood the test of time. Modest,
wistful and endearing are a few of the adjectives that best describe Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji. Be it adult or
children, rich or poor, to him, it was people who mattered as he embraced one and all with open arms. Shri
Naveen Agarwal Ji was a living testimony of what an ordinary citizen, fueled by the enterprise and driven by
determination, can achieve in his own lifetime. He was a philanthropist and above all a great human being
endowed with empathy, compassion and concern for the underprivileged sections of the society.
During the 15 years that he guided the destiny of the Unison Group, he pioneered the Group’s involvement
in education and allied fields. The Unison Group today stands tall with interests varying from education
and philanthropy to hospitality. Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji’s many contributions in the fields of education and
business symbolize all that is best in the Unison spirit of giving back to society and the communities in which
its enterprises grow. As a fitting tribute, the Shri Naveen Agarwal Charitable Trust, the premier charitable
endowment of the Unison Group, has been created, propelling the family tradition of philanthropy.
We are fortunate to have had a man of the stature of Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji in our midst. His sterling
leadership qualities, remarkable foresight, uncompromising pursuit of excellence, humility, prodigious capacity
to motivate and trust people will continue to guide and inspire future generations at Unison. Chapter 3 (Karma
Yoga), Verse 21 of Bhagwad Gita states, “The actions of a great man are an inspiration for others. Whatever he
does, becomes a standard for others to follow.” This certainly applies to Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji. We are proud
and privileged to inherit this invaluable legacy. The Unison group is a living testimony to his indomitable will,
single-minded dedication and unrelenting commitment to his goals.
Truly, men like Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji are rare. They come gifted with the power and the vision to change the

Having cognizance of our social responsibility to make the world a better place and not just take from it, we
see ourselves as social entrepreneurs who according to Bill Drayton “Are not content just to give a fish or teach
how to fish but will not rest until they have revolutionized the fishing industry”. We aspire to be not only the
leading educationists who have an edge over others but consider ‘Education as the most powerful weapon
which you can use to change the world’. The spirit of philanthropy which was the driving force of our Founder
Chairman has been so infused in the members of the Unison family that they are highly motivated to follow his
footsteps and walk the road of self-transcendence where they compete not with others but with their previous
achievements, exploring the perpetual possibilities in life.

DIT University takes its root from the erstwhile Dehradun Institute of Technology established in 1998. In
a very short span of 18 years, by virtue of its excellence in education and research, it not only attained
full University status but was also one of the very few universities in the country to offer in addition
to the regular undergraduate programs, full time graduate and doctoral programs in several disciplines
like Engineering, Pharmacy, Management and Architecture. In a short span of two years since 2013, DIT
University has thus grown tremendously to become one of the region’s premier institute of higher learning
known for its excellence in campus life, infrastructure, teaching and research. That we have more than
6000 students studying here in all the disciplines put together is a reflection of the quality of education
that our University is committed to.
As we look to the future, knowledge will continue to play a very important role as a key resource for the
country. Our challenge is to generate new innovative ideas that will benefit society, to educate and train
people to work in interdisciplinary areas where you will be valued both for your specialized knowledge,
and for your ability to apply your knowledge to solve new problems in the modern world.
To keep pace with technological advancements and to meet these challenges our future endeavor would
require seeking strong alliances and international collaborative partnerships that would give you an
opportunity to be associated with high end research projects in your undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD
work. This will ensure the quality and relevance of our on-going academic programs and the continued

members for various semester courses for online guidance and submissions. Besides they have to report
to their respective department for all their academic requirements including those for appearing in
regular midterm & end-term examinations.
Remedial Classes
Diagnostic tests are conducted to identify weak students
Based on performance of students in class tests, quiz test and mid-term tests, their weak areas are

solution for creating wealth, generating employment and providing new goods and services.
Developing the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth has become vital because of the
government cannot provide jobs for all kinds of unemployed person, the corporate sector will
provide limited jobs only to the best and that too without any job security and lastly, very
often it is difficult to find an ideal job. It is seen that, those countries has risen, who have
