COURSE: BA 513 - (HUMAN BEHAVIOR IN ORGANIZATION)

A. COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course Human Behavior in Organization is a course that


deals with the theories and concepts in organization behavior as well as approaches to
organization effectiveness.

B. COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course the students should be able to:
1) Gain insights on major theories on organizational behavior
2) Identify approaches to measuring organizational effectiveness
3) Get familiarized with various personality types and individual characteristics that
influence work behavior and organizational effectiveness
4) Gain sensitivity in handling people with behavioral variances
5) Manifest familiarity with organizational structure, processes and formulation of
policies
6) Identify and state factors contributing to organizational structure
7) Manage Change and transitions effectively
