Sexual Immorality

Sexual immorality - sinful acts consisting of Lust, Idle Jesting (in the form of
flirtation outside of marriage), Fornication, Adultery, Incest, Homosexuality
and Bestiality.

Forms of Sexual Immorality in detail

Lust – Thoughts out of a sexually strong desire and attraction, for a person that
is not in any way to be desired in such a manner.

her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

Fornication – Any form sexual activity before marriage.

and the Lord for the body.”

Adultery – Also called Infidelity, is sexual activity outside of marriage, including

flirtation, sexual intercourse,

Idle Jesting (flirtation in speech) – Chatter and sexual innuendos that

entertains thoughts towards sexual immorality.

 Ephesians 5:4-5 (KJV)

“Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not
convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor
covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of
Christ and of God.”
 What to do when it presents itself and where is
the way out.

We should walk by the spirit, rely on the Holy Spirits leading, as told to the
Galatians and us today in Galatians 5:16.

flesh.”
Also put on the whole armour against the forces of darkness as spoken
about in Ephesians 6:10-18.
Which speaks of us having your loins girt about with truth, having on the
breastplate of righteousness, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel
of peace, the shield of faith , the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit.
