EDUCATION WEEK

LOVE: I am requesting the candidates to please be ready. May I request our judges and our
most beloved principal to please occupy the seats reserved for you. I am also enjoining my fellow
teachers to please come forward ass any minutes from now were are going to formally start the
competition.
CECILLE: To our distinguished guests, judges, to our approachable and resourceful principal, Sir
Charles Cyril S. Alegre, Ph.D., L.L.B. fellow teachers, parents, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good
afternoon.
LOVE: This afternoon, witness as 6 dazzling candidates present their best and vie for the crowns.
As the afternoon sun rivals that of your sheer excitement, we will soon find out who are worthy of the

CECILLE: And I’m Cecille C. Barlas
BOTH: And this is the Search for Ms. Hiyas 2016.
LOVE : I know you are all squirming with anticipation. Is everyone excited about this event? Cant
hear you. Well, lets not keep you waiting. Let us formally start the competition proper.

I. Invocation and National Anthem

CECILLE To invoke God’s Holy presence in us , let us stand or the INVOCATION. This will be
followed by the singing of the national anthem and the singing o the REGIONAL, GENSAN,
SCHOOL hymn. May I invite everybody to stand.

LOVE Thank you may now be seated.

II. Welcome address
To formally welcome us in, here is our most beloved principal Charles Cyril S. Alegre,
Ph.D., L.L.B. Let us give her a big hand.

CECILLE Thank you so much, sir, for that heart-warming welcome address.
III. Production Number
We will not keep you waiting anymore. So now, Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome,
the candidates in their production number.

IV. Pasiklaban
And now, to bring you the next level of excitement, we will give you, the
PASIKLABAN of talents of our multifaceted NMES Teaching Force. Please help me
welcome, the first team coming from Team Honey. Let’s give them a thunderous
applause.
LOVE That was a beautiful performance by Team Honey.

V. Inroduction of Judges
Before anything else, let us meet the people who will help us decide who among
our candidates deserve to be crowned ms. Hiyas 2016. So to present the judges, let us
welcome on stage maam Robelyn Malabar Grade 6 adviser.

CECILLE There they are, the judges who will be responsible in deciding the fate of our
candidates. Thank you maam Roby.

VI. Presentation of Criteria

We are well aware that these candidates would like to know how are they going
to be judged accordingly. So the Official criteria for judging are:

VII. Intermission Number

 At this point let us be entertained by our equally-talented NMES pupils, our
contender for the Jollibee Hiphop Dance Contest. Help me welcome on stage the Jolly
Hoppers.

VIII. Sports Attire

And now, for another round in our competition, help me welcome back on the
ramp, the candidates in their sports attire.

IX. PASIKLABAN
At this juncture, while giving our judges time to contemplate on who is their bet for
best in sports attire let’s move on to our Pasiklaban. Let us put our hands together for
the contestants of Team Jed.

CECILLE Wow that was real talent coming rom our beloved teachers.
X. Message
Lets break the trance first by hearing a message coming. Help me welome on

XI. Talent Portion
More than physical beauty, our candidates are swarming with talent. Be
prepared to be amazed as they showcase their genuine talent.

Team.

XIII. Evening Gown Competition
We are almost halfway to the final moment. Let us enjoy the escalating moment
of this afternoon’s event. For another round in our competition, lets see our 6
candidates ramp in their evening gown. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the
candidates in their long gown.

For some announcements, may I call on Mam Rosie V. Paras our School
Guidance Counselor.

XVI. Question and Answer
More than beauty and charm, let us see what they have in store for us in the
question and answer portion. I know that they have shown their genuine talents making
each and every one of them stand out on their own.
 CECILLE Let’s move on to our interview portion. The candidates will answer a
question from our judges, and their answers will determine their places.

LOVE So please step forward as we call pair no. 1 to pick a question from the bowl a
piece of paper. Give it to us and we will tell you the judge who will ask a question. Let’s start
