Aims of the criminal Justice system

Each country must have efforts and efforts to protect its people in various ways
so that they can avoid all threats that will destroy state security.Making norm and
legal regulationsin the country that are binding on the people in the country.before I
explain to the discussion what are you talking about the criminal justice system
?According Ramington and Ohlin, Criminal justice system can be interpreted as an
approach system for the mechanism of criminal justice administration as a system is
the result of interaction between law and regulation,practice administration and social
attitudes or behavior.

Where as according Muladi about criminal system,it must be seen as “The

network of courts and tribunal which deals with criminal law and enforcement.”the
criminal justice system in it contains systemic movement from the supporting
subsystems are police,prosecutors,court and institutions correction or correctionality
which as a whole is one unit which tries to transform input into output which is the
goal of the criminal justice system consists of :

1.Short-term goals in the form of resocializing the perpetrators of criminal acts

2.Medium-term goals in the form of crime prevention and

3.The long –term goal of social welfare

The main purpose of the renewal of criminal law is prevention crime.The three
updated laws are closely related,but in this paper the attention is solely intended to
renewal of material criminal law.Material Criminal substantive renewal must be
accommodate the central values of society and also not to close themselves toward
universal values in civilized societies.Legal renewal as mentioned above is more
popular than the term legal guidance,although both terms contain the same meaning
and meaning,legal developmentin the broadest sense,namely every action that tries
harmonizing the law with the needs of the people who are developing.

Thus guidance includes legal development activities,establish new provisions in

lieu of the old provisions colonial,while in a narrow sense that is the effort to adjust
continuously continually national law that has exited since the proclamation with its
needs keep changing.Prevent people from becoming victims of crime,resolve crimes
that occur so that the public is satisfied that justice has been upheld and the guilty are
convicted,make sure that those who have committed crimes do not repeat their
crimes.Protect the community and law enforcement.Renewing criminal law does not
mean improving criminal law but replacing it better.The meaning is there is an
attempt to make a conceptual precedence criminal.
