BODY

ROUND PATTERN #st

29-30- 18 sc around 18
31- (2 sc, 1 inc) x6 24
32- 24 sc around 24
33- (5 sc, 1 inc) x4 28
34-45 28 sc around, (fig 6) 28
46- 26 sc around, put your marker here, new beginning (fig 7). 26

Don’t cut the yarn, we continue as below:

3
LEGS
Now we are going to make left leg first.
Left leg:
Crochet 13 sc (round 47), then put hook through the other side (fig 8) and make next 13 sc. Follow the
instructions to continue:

7 8 9

47-57 13 sc around 13
58- (1 dec) x6, 1 sc 7
Leave a long tail for sewing later.
How to close the end of the round:
With a darning needle, insert the remaining yarn through all the front loops of the stitches on the last
round. Pull all together at once and sew to hide the yarn inside the part you are working on.

10 11

Right leg:
Lay the doll facing in front of you.
Make a long yarn tail for sewing a gap between legs later.
From the right leg’s first round, count 1 stitch away on both sides of left leg (fig 12), then insert your
hook across both stitches and make a slip stitch (fig 13). On that same stitch crochet the first sc of right
leg then continue the pattern.

12 13 14

Use the yarn tail you left from the beginning of right leg to sew and close any gaps between the legs.

4
ARMS
Use the 2,0 mm hook.
ROUND PATTERN #st
1- 5 sc in magic ring 5
2- (1 inc) x5 10
3-17 10 sc around 10
18- (3 sc, 1 dec) x2 8

15

Stuff the arms lightly.

Flatten the arm and close the opening by doing 3 sc. Leave a long tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLING:
- Sew the arms to the body. Left arm: front to back. Right arm: back to front (fig 19 and 20). Hide
the tail as shown (fig 21).

19 20 21

- Use pins to mark the facial features.

Eyes: with a black thread, embroider the eyes 5 stitches long and 1 stitch in height on round 18. Make
sure it is loose enough to form a smiling eyes. Do the same thing on the onther ete. There should be 7
stitches in between both eyes. Dab a litbit of glue to secure the eyes (fig 22 and 23).
Nose: with a pink thread, embroider the nose 1 stitch long between round 19 and 20 on the center.
Don’t cut the yarn as we are going to use the same thread for the mouth (fig 24).
Mouth: embroider the mouth 5 sitches long between round 21 and 22. Don’t tag it too tight. It should
be loose enough to form a curve. Sew and hide the remaining thread inside the head. Dab a little bit of
glue to secure the mouth (fig 24).

5
HAIR
Using a thicker yarn, cut above 50 pcs of yarn in 30 cm of length each (fig 1).
Mark the positions (Rounds 1-6 of the head), where the hair will be attached using pins (fig 2). Fold the
yarn pcs in halves.
- Starting from round 1, insert your hook and grab the yarn (fig 3).
- Draw up a loop (fig 4), then insert your hook to the next stitch and through that loop, pick up
another yarn and pull it through (fig 5).
- Take the first yarn and pull it tight to hide the loop (fig 6 and 7).

3 4 5

6 7 8

Repeat the steps till you finished all the stitches from round 1.
For the next 5 rounds, you will be working every other stitch (fig 9, 10 and 11) unlike on round 1, where
you worked on every stitch. Do the same process of attaching the hair one by one.
If you use thinner yarn, you will have to work with every stitch to prevent gaps.
For the last pc of yarn, just pull it to hide inside the head (fig 12 and 13).

DRESS
Use soft yarn with 2,0 mm hook.
I used two colors white and purple. The change of color of thread will be goes on the line. I pointed it in
each round on the pattern. It means that next stitch will be with another color. See the photo how to
change the yarn.
How to change yarn:
With the two loops from the previous yarn on the hook (fig 1), wrap around the new yarn around the
hook (fig 2), pull the new yarn through the two loops of the stitch (fig 3).
Remember to always put the previous yarn in front of you (fig 4 and 5).
