Temporary work design

Applicable for grid R to S / 40 to 43

Form work Material used : "TITAN BEAMS AND PROPS"
Assumptions
1. Assumed that the Prop load of 2730 kN is given for one Panel
( 8.00 m. x 8.00 m ) of slab and is including all type of Dead, REMARKS
imposed and Factor of safety.

Per sq. m. Load on the slab = SW 2730 = 42.65625 kN

Using Titan Main beams 1.70 m. @ 13.8 kg.
M.R. of the beam 6.90 kNm Ref. Titan beam data
B.M. max. = wl2 / 8 wx 1.70 x 1.70

Now as the Beam length is fixed, Loading is also fixed, the only
thing which can be changed is the w per m. run on the beam
which depands on b the loading strip

Width of load strip = b = w / SW 0.4477737 m.

The arrangement is shown in the drawing

Prop load = SW x Span x spacing 30.81914 kN

Use Titan # 3

Applicable for slabs outside grid R to S / 40 to 43 Strengthening of adjoining slabs for Traffic

We consider that demolition work is being carried out by a machine of gross weight of 20 kN
