Sealed tenders are invited from reputed, bonafide and experienced caterers for
providing canteen services at EDI campus.

1. For additional dish supplied during any meal over and above the
aforementioned menu, charges will be paid extra as per mutually agreed
rates.
3. Provision of crockery and cutlery for dining strength of 350 persons at the
caterer’s cost.
4. Layout of tables for each meal in the dining halls to be aesthetically done.
10 Tea to be served during working hours to staff in offices and students in tea
lounge.
Special Instructions :
2. Service Provider will be required to serve meals in 4 dining halls each with
a strength of at least 50-60 persons, during all meals.
6. This is an Annual Rate Service Contract and the initial period of the
contract shall be for a period of one year extendable for another year
subject to satisfactory service without any change in payment terms.

e) Experience of providing catering service during last 5 years and a
list of clients with their phone number & contact person details.
f) Details of Bank Draft (EMD) and Bank details for RTGS.
g) Details of office infrastructure and staff
h) Yearly minimum turnover of Rs.1.00 crore.
8. Daily feeding strength would vary from 150-200 persons except during
vacations. However, the payment will be made as per actual feeding
strength to be recorded every day and for each meal.
11. Service provider will be responsible for safety of workers engaged by him.
13. Rates may please be submitted on Format attached as Annx. I,II, III & IV.
Director, EDI reserves the right to reject the tender in full or part thereof without
assigning any reason whatsoever.

Special Terms :
Service Provider will collect the mess charges through cash or demand draft or bank
transfer from students directly on or before 5 th of every month. Service Provider will
issue a receipt for such payment. Institute will have no liability whatsoever. Canteen
Management System to be managed by Mess Contractor.
EDI does not guarantee any minimum quantity in terms of strength of staff, National &
International participants and PG Students.
