MEET THE

TEACHER
Hello!! My name is Mrs. Contreras and I am going to be your Kindergarten teacher!
This will be my second-year teaching at La Vernia Primary. I love Kindergarten
and all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have.

I am a graduate of Texas A& M University-Kingsville with a B.A. and M.A. in

Spanish. I was born in Zaragoza, Coah. Mexico but was raised in Pearsall, Texas.
My husband Roberto and I have three children Carlos, Adrian, and Cecilia. We
love being outside when the sun is shining!

In our classroom we will have a seating chart and you will be able to find your
name when you walk into our classroom. We all love to share our thoughts but in
order to do so in an orderly manner I will need you to wait your turn by raising
your hand and patiently wait your turn. With that being said, in our classroom we
respect everyone and their thoughts, therefore we will show respect by listening
to our friends when its their turn to share.
