Meet Your Representatives
Deb Haaland represents the New Mexico First
Congressional District in the U.S. House of
Representatives. From the Pueblo of Laguna, Rep.
Haaland is the former Chair of the Democratic
Party of New Mexico, the first Native American
woman to chair a major state party. In this position
Rep. Haaland led New Mexico to flip its State
House from red to blue and helped Democrats
expand the majority in the State Senate. She is the
Debra Haaland former Chairwoman of the Laguna Development
(D-NM-1st) Corporation Board of Directors where she directed
Pueblo of Laguna the business operations, strategies and initiatives
of the second largest tribal gaming enterprise in
New Mexico. Rep. Haaland is a single mother and a
graduate of UNM School of Law.

Sharice Davids represents the Kansas Third


Congressional District in the U.S. House of
Representatives. From the Ho-Chunk Nation of
Wisconsin, Rep. Davids is an alumna of the
prestigious White House Fellowship Program. She
is also highly trained in martial arts and has
competed as both an amateur and professional in
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). With her brother, Rep.
Davids created Starty Pants - a video podcast that
highlights entrepreneurs in the Greater Kansas
City area focusing on women, people of color and
LGBTQ founders. Rep. Davids is a graduate of
