A cover letter should include an introduction to represent a person’s goal to obtain the job
placement. The body of the cover letter should include a summary of the main points in the resume
in a single paragraph. The letter should be concluded with the optimism and necessary contact
information for the interviewer’s use.
A thank you letter should include a heading that indicates the date of the writing, mailing
address, phone number, email address and employer’s company address. The introduction of the
thank you letter should be introduced with greetings to thank the employer for taking the time to
interview us. We should also mention the specific position or job that we are interested in. The
body of the paragraph should address the challenges associated with the position applied. In fact,
we should also explain how we are able to take up the challenge and help the company. For the
conclusion, the letter should have a closing that explains your pleasure of meeting with the
employer to discuss about the job. We should also state that we are looking forward to hearing
back from the employer regarding the next steps to take if we move on towards the next stage of
the job interview. Therefore, we should provide our phone number and email address again for the
interviewer’s refence. The thank you letter is then ended with a signature of our name. Lastly, the
letters needs to be checked for spelling and grammatical errors.
