Instructions
Main Section

With 3.50mm hook, make 48 ch.

Round 1 - (RS), 3 dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 dc into each


of next 45 ch, 6 dc into last dc, now working back along
other side of foundation ch, 1 dc into each of next 45 ch, 3
dc into same ch as 3 dc at beg of round, ss to first dc, turn Round 9 - 1 ch (does not count as st), (2 dc into next dc, 1 dc
(102 sts). into each of next 3 dc) 3 times, 1 dc into each of next 45 dc, (2
dc into next dc, 1 dc into each of next 45 dc, (2 dc into next dc,
Round 2 - 1 ch (does not count as st), 1 dc to end, ss to first dc, 1 dc into each of next 3 dc) 6 times, 1 dc into each of next 45

Next round - 1 ch (does not count as st), 1 dc into each of first

Cont in dc fabric until Bag meas 30cm from round 11, ending
with RS facing for next round. Fold last 16 rounds to inside around top of Main Section and
stitch in place.
Next round - As round 11.

Work in dc fabric for a further 16 rounds.

Fasten off.

Handles (Make 2)

With 3.50mm hook, make 5 ch and join with a ss to form a


ring.

Round 1 - 1 dc into each ch to end.

Round 2 - 1 dc into each dc to end.

Rep last round (forming a tubular spiral) until Handle meas


110cm.

Fasten off.

Make up
Press carefully following instructions on ball band.

Flowers (Make 6)

With 3.50mm hook, make 3 ch and join with s ss to form a


ring.

Round 1 - (3 ch, 2 tr into ring, 3 ch, 1 ss into ring) 4 times.

Fasten off.

Using photograph as a guide, thread one Handle through larg-


er 'holes' near top of Main Section thus: bring handle to RS
through hole nearest beg of round, miss 2 holes, then take it
back to WS through next hole. Bring it back to RS through
next hole next to last hole, then take back to WS next to hole
where it first came through. Join ends securely. Lay handle
flat, so that the 2 strands of the handle lay next to each other,
and sew together 6cm above holes. Attach a flower over join.
Thread other handle through other set of 4 holes and secure
in some way.
