1. CULTURAL COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR TRANSGENDERS , KOOVAGAM

KOOVAGAM is a village in ulundurpet taluk of villupuram, where transgender community from all
part of the country gather for the 15 day annual koovagam festival. This is the most important
festival of their community. But there is no facility for them to stay and already being an outcast
from the society, the proposal is to build a cultural community centre for them where it has cultural
centres , housings , rehabs.

2. MULTIPURPOSE CULTURAL COMPLEX , PUDUCHERRY

(No:2345/tourism/U.3/S&L/2015/1082) The government of Puducherry Tourism Department has

. asked for a proposal to transform the old distillery building and surrounding vacant area into a .
. active multipurpose complex. (sea front)

3. PALLIKARANAI WETLAND RESTORATION

The state government has asked for ecological restoration of Pallikaranai marshland. The water
body is the last remaining marshland in the city. The marsh is the home of many flora and fauna , but
over the recent years due to IT encroachments the place has depleted for worse. This restoration
will help in restoring the ecology of pallikaranai.

4.OCEANARIUM , MAHABALIPURAM / SOMNATH

The Gujarat government plans to build a “mega oceanarium” at Somnath.The Gujarat coastline is
known for its ecological and economic wealth, the state government therefore plans to establish a
Marine Research Conservation centre cum marine oceanarium the state government has allocated
10 acres of land at Somnath which was with the Somnath Temple Trust. oceanarium will be a 270-
degree acrylic tunnel,showcasing more than 300 marine species, large aquariums, touch pool shows
and full-fledged marine and coastal research laboratories
