For safety reasons, all passenger baggage, including cabin baggage, must be presented during the check-in.

Passenger baggage that the airline agrees to transport while accepting responsibility for its safety is marked with a baggage tag and transported in the hold, and is called
checked baggage.

All of Aeroflot’s own flights use a piece concept system (based on the number of checked baggage pieces to be transported). This system distinguishes between various
classes of service and/or applicable fares.

Free baggage allowance

If the total weight of the passenger's baggage including carry-on does not exceed 10 kg, then any number of baggage pieces can be checked in as free baggage.

The number of baggage pieces transported as free checked baggage is specified in the passenger ticket and baggage check as 1PC/2PC/3PC.

These free checked baggage allowances apply to the entire route in both directions from the airport where the baggage was checked in to the destination, or until the first stop en route for
more than 24 hours, on condition that Aeroflot is the flight operator on all of the route's flights.

On code-sharing flights, the carrier airline's baggage allowance may apply. If a trip involves flights by carriers other than Aeroflot, including code-sharing flights, the free baggage allowance is
determined according to the rules of the route's lead carrier (detailed information is available from our contact centre).

On code-sharing flights by Aurora and Rossiya airlines, the baggage allowance for Aeroflot flights applies.

Exception: on routes that involve code-sharing flights carried out by the Aurora airline (SU3630-3639, SU4526-4545, SU4591-4629) the free checked baggage allowance for all fare families is
limited to one baggage piece.

If separate tickets have been purchased for separate flights along a route, the free checked baggage allowances specified on the tickets are used for the corresponding flights.

Children aged 2 to 12 have the same free checked baggage allowances as adult passengers.

For infants and toddlers up to 2 years old (who do not require a separate seat), the free checked baggage allowance is 1 bag not exceeding 10 kg in weight and with the sum of 3
dimensions not exceeding 115 cm, regardless of the class of service.
