Strategies to overcome difficulties 1. I will make sure they understood it by asking questions using question tags.
2. Give those students the chance to talk, by addressing them when I ask
questions. Also, during activities pair them with someone who is more extrovert.
3. When pairing is needed, one pair has a third person. At the next lesson, I will
ask other students to explain the topic of the lesson in English to the absent
person as a warmer for the next lesson.
4. On our first lesson, we set up rules on the use of their mother language during
the lesson.
