For the students to understand the use of question tags and how they can be used
in every day life.
For the students to practice speaking English.
1. Students get confused by question tags because they don’t use them in their
mother language.
2. Shy students.
3. Student is absent.
4. Students us their mother language.
Strategies to overcome difficulties 1. I will make sure they understood it by asking questions using question tags.
2. Give those students the chance to talk, by addressing them when I ask
questions. Also, during activities pair them with someone who is more extrovert.
3. When pairing is needed, one pair has a third person. At the next lesson, I will
ask other students to explain the topic of the lesson in English to the absent
person as a warmer for the next lesson.
4. On our first lesson, we set up rules on the use of their mother language during
the lesson.
