Canada – Relax Holidays YMCA Youth Camp Program - 2019
08 Days/07 Nights for Age 6 to 16 Students

Inclusions:
• 08 days/ 07 nights based on FB basis in selected 3* hotels (2 nights) outside the
camp, plus cabin style lodging inside the camp (5 nights) with 12-14 rooms per
wing (3 separate wings). Each room has 2 bunk beds (4 beds) for 4
youth/students or 2 adults with an in-suite bathroom in each room (toilet,
shower, sink).
• Daily Full Day Activities in the camp (09:00 – 19:00) except weekend & Field Day
trips (details in Appendix#1)
• Full Day Field Trip to Niagara Falls including activities and 3 meals (06:00 –
21:00)
• Full Day Field Trip to Toronto to site seeing the most famous attraction sites
including 3 meals (09:00-19:00)
• Airport Meet and assist, all transportation in Canada with A/C modern coaches
as well as airport drop off before final departure
• Native English Supervisor flying from the country of origin
(Egypt/Poland/UAE/KSA/OMAN) to Canada.
• Canadian Native Speakers camp instructors & supervisors on site and during
field trips.

with a Canadian insurance company).

Deposit: USD 150 per camper (non-refundable unless cancelation is due to visa
rejection).
Cancelation policy: The full USD 150 will be refunded only in case the visa rejection

5. WHO IS YMCA?
For 64 years, YMCA has been developing young leaders. YMCA Cedar Glen
Outdoor Centre is an amazing place where 24,000 participants annually,
including young people aged 4 to 18, from all backgrounds connect, gain
confidence, and build new skills. Open year-round in Schomburg on 263 acres of
the Oak Ridges Moraine, it offers highly-variegated experiential outdoor
education programming, including camp, designed to achieve our objective of
ensuring young people—including those facing barriers—live healthy, resilient
lives. Here, youth from across the province develop leadership skills, civic
engagement, and a sense of belonging. Participants—increasingly diverse in
terms of ethnicity, newcomer status, Indigenous background, sexual orientation,
learning styles, and income level—immerse in nature. For some, it’s a first-time

6. HOW TO APPLY FOR THE VISITOR VISA TO CANADA?
a. Book for the camp. Contact Relax Holidays DMCC or Rotana Egypt for more
information.
b. Provide Relax Holidays DMCC/ Rotana Egypt visa departments with the
required documents and copy of passport.
c. Students should be present on interview day

7. HOW TO BUY THE FLIGHT TICKET?

8. CAN I KNOW THE DAY-TO-DAY CAMP PROGRAM?

Camp detailed program (Appendix-1) inside the YMCA camp is attached (in the
file given to the parents).
9. IS THERE A DOCTOR ON SITE?

YMCA do not have a doctor on site, but they do have a Wellness Coordinator
who is on site only during the summer months of June to August. The Wellness
Coordinator is typically someone who is trained or currently being trained in the
healthcare field. In case of emergency the Wellness Coordinator will assist in
transporting the participant to the nearest medical facility.

10. CAN I KNOW THE MEALS SERVED IN THE CAMP?
Camp meals schedule inside the YMCA camp is attached (in the file given to the
parents).
11. MY SON/DAUGHTER HAS ALLERGY, WILL THIS BE A PROBLEM?

The YMCA staff are trained to help accommodate for many types of
allergies. We would require information on all individual allergies, medications
and other medical conditions in order to prepare in advance along with the
individuals visiting to be responsible for bringing anything they would require for
their medical needs during their visit.
12. IS THERE A HALAL MEAL OPTION?

Could be arranged prior to earlier booking and confirmation.
13. WHAT ARE THE ROOM TYPES IN THE CAMP?

The YMCA accommodations are hotel/cabin style lodging with 12-14 rooms per
wing and we have 3 separate wings. Each room has 2 bunk beds (4 beds) for 4
youth/students or 2 adults with an in-suite bathroom in each room (toilet,
shower, sink).

They can do that outside of program times – during meal times, break times and
