Mission
• Establishing a higher education in the field of maritime transport which
efficient, relevant and responsible;
• Developing education and research network both nationally and
internationally;
• Adding number of research, innovation and other academic activities in
order to improve marine transportation science which relevant to the
industrial needs and development;
• Enhancing participation in community service in order to develop
maritime industry, sustainable community empowerment and
environmental.

• Able to understand the problems faced by maritime industry and define
the alternative solutions;
• Able to plan an optimum marine transportation system based on both
micro and macro scale of economic laws;
• Able to plan an optimum freight distribution with the use of multi-modal
transportation system based on the latest macro and micro logistic
principals;
• Able to create port plans and concepts that are able to support optimum
sea transportation systems;
• Able to think and work individually and teams;
• Able to behave academically, think scientifically, and have the will to learn
continuosly.
